The feels I got after visiting Fort Duvernette was indescribable but left me feeling euphoric! This tiny island is only accessible via water taxi which you can hire near the boardwalk at the Leeward Highway. Immediately after arriving (if not before) a sense of excitement will engulf you. There are a lot stairs to get to the top but if you’re in decent shape it’ll be no problem. The view is definitely worth it.
