The beach is lovely but they wanted $50 SWT to park under some shade. So we parked at a restaurant to the east end of the fales (the steps from the restaurant is shown inone of the pics).

We had 22 people wanting lunch and they said no problem.

But it was a disaster! Meals served 1:40 after ordering. Locals coming in after us and getting meals (probably ours). If you want food go to the small resort to at the west end of the fales.

The beach is nice but would not go back for anything else.

Maybe fo to the restaurant and order a drink and then use the beach from there. No parking fee. No long...

Beautiful beach but the guy who lives across the road from the beach charged us a whooping $50 to park our car there. Very ridiculous price! I am Samoan and partner is Kiwi! Most of the locals here can't tell I'm Samoan but I can understand everything and know for sure that this place doesn't charge $50 for parking. Definitely advise all to tourists to watch out as some of the locals really put their prices up if they see you are not from here and reckon us from overseas have heaps of money. O kakou gei o Samoa e ese kau faavalea male makai kupe. Eke fiu lava eke makai kupe eke makiva...

We were charged WST50 to park and use one of the fales. And this fee is for any fale, not only the ones at the hotel, as local families own these huts and charge for parking and using them. However, it is definitely worth the visit to this beach, the temperature, the crystalline water, and the view are a beautiful combination! If you don’t want to pay the fee, maybe try parking away from the fales (as we saw some people doing). Also, not the best beach to snorkel, didn’t...

Always a must visit stop when travelling to Samoa. 80 Tala to hire a beach fale for the day, you are supplied with a mat to lay down inside the fale and this gives you access to their facilities like toilets etc across the road. Respect their culture and rules, and you will be just fine.

Beautiful beach, there are restaurants and toilets, but there are different fees in different areas, for parking, for the fales, to enter the beach! I recommend the visit, but remember to bring cash!
