Some of the Best Blow holes you will see in the world!

Definately a windy day at high tide makes the difference to get maximum effect. The blowholes and the entire shelf wall is made of volcanic rock that has molten into a crust, the walls formed against the ocean creates a hard surface for waves to hit and explode creating more entertainment and wow factor for photos.

A great visit for young and old, if you got teens with attention short attention spans, get them to create funny photos using the big blowhole.

The "Big" Blow hole is 50 meters past the look out deck.

$10 Wst per person to enter, there is a fale with a local that...

Highlight of Savai'i for us - really quite stunning. We paid a local to throw some coconuts into the blowhole and it was quite spectacular to see them fired up 50-100m into the air (way higher than the water goes). You are not meant to go right down onto the lava flows to get close to the blowholes - we did (but nowhere near as close as some folks), but you do really need to be careful... A big wave came in while we were there, so much bigger than every other one and we had to run hard to get away - it still caught us and we got wet shoes but if we hadn't seen it coming it would have probably...

The blowholes themselves were amazing to watch. However, I would warn any women to be careful when visiting. Myself and my husband were approached by a Samoan guy hanging around near the blowholes to take a picture. He then proceeded to ask for a photo with me, which we thought was odd. While my husband was taking the photo, he then tried to grab my butt. Not at all pleasant and very concerning that he is doing this in public. We reported it to the person who took our entrance fee, however he seemed to be his friend and did not take it seriously. I hope this doesn't happen to...

We LOVED THIS PLACE. Wish we planned more time to stay longer. We went at high tide. And WOW WHAT A SHOW. It is a little dangerous. There is a red line on the rock. After getting soaked and a little washed by a wave. We would definitely recommend staying behind the red line. After going past it. There is no red like in front of the, viewing deck. It’s further up on the side right to the deck. It was 10 WST. Was super easy to enter they were Very lovely. We are so thankful to the family who owns the land for opening it up for the public. WHAT A SITE TO SEE! incredible.

Definitely one of our top highlights in Samoa! The blowholes are absolutely recommended for anyone touring Savaii. You can really feel the incredible power of nature. The sight of the stunning turquoise water, huge waves, the sound of the water shooting up and the refreshing sprinkles of water will make anyone feel like a kid again. Totally loved it and well worth the entry fee (I think it was $10 WST for 2 adults & car).
