I love the spirit that speaks and am grateful for this gospel but when it comes to how the patron houses are run, I am disappointed in those who hold callings in power that abuse their callings in power. Instead of following the counsel of being God’s church of order, people will manipulate the system and lean into their own understanding rather than the Lord. Our family and many others have booked the patron houses months in advance with securing payment. After a week, we were told we could not stay any longer. Last minute, we had to scrounge our things and find a hotel. The point is this rating is for the lack of order, honesty, and communication those who are running the temple housing. Please train and do things in order of God’s alofa, not your own.

The impressive Church of the Later Day Saints (Mormon) Temple. There are many Church of the Later Day Saints (Mormon) chapels in Samoa, but only one temple, and it can only be entered (like all Mormon temples, but not chapels) but people of high standing in the church. Opened in 1983, it was the 22nd in the world, and 3rd in Polynesia after Hawaii and New Zealand. It was destroyed by fire in 2003 but rebuilt and opened in 2005.

This temple, like the hundreds of other LDS temples, is beautiful and inspires one to look upward and think of your Maker. Can't enter without an LDS temple recommend but anyone that would like to know it's purpose, ask any member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.
