This place is just awesome for Science lovers !!!
Trust me...You never gonna regret your decision. Though, during a pandemic, half of the items displayed aren't in working conditions, as they require physical touch. They have barricaded the displays.
Entry ticket for all the halls (6 halls) are 23 SAR and if you want to experience the Ultimate IMAX experience (Dome) you need to pay additional 28 Riyals for the same. Shows are translated into Arabic, if you are not a native speaker, you won't understand a word, but you can witness the Imax experience, it's something soothing.
On the ground floor, you can witness the Heritage Museum, where all the artefacts Including the Holy Qur'an with its original typography have been kept. You can also view various traditional items from different era's in Saudi modernization.
Also, there are various halls divided into 2 separate floors. This can be the best place to get your kids on the weekend to help them explore the world of science and technology.
This park is located near the beautiful corniche area of Al-Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
You can also find a good place to sit around for a coffee or a quick bite around.
If you plan to visit this place, you should at least spare 3-4 hours in totality to explore and understand each item displayed inside the Scitech park.

Read moreScitech is a wonderful place to visit in Khobar, especially for families and science enthusiasts. The center is well-kept and sparkling clean, creating a pleasant environment to explore.
That said, some areas of the exhibition could use significant improvements. The Technology section and Wonders of Science area were unfortunately closed during our visit, which was a bit disappointing. The Amazing Seas exhibit was decent but lacked detailed information that could make it more engaging. The Living World area could greatly benefit from incorporating modern technology to enhance the learning experience, while the Earth and Space section had some equipment that wasn’t working properly and could use innovative upgrades.
For children, the center could do more to make exhibits interactive and fun. Having better guides to engage kids and inspire their interest in science would be a big improvement.
The IMAX theater experience was average. The seating arrangement was not very child-friendly, posing a falling hazard for younger kids. The movie shown—a documentary on NASA’s space program—felt outdated and more adult-oriented. Adding 3D movies with captivating and modern science topics would make the IMAX experience much more appealing for all ages.
Overall, Scitech has great potential and is still worth a visit, but with a few updates and enhancements, it could truly shine as a hub for science and learning...
