As you approach Maraya, the first thing that strikes you is how the building almost disappears into the desert, perfectly reflecting the golden sands, rugged rock formations, and the ever-changing sky. The structure itself is an architectural marvel, seamlessly blending with its surroundings to the point where you might feel like you're walking into a mirage.
Once inside, the contrast is immediate and profound. The interior is modern, sleek, and filled with light, creating a space that feels both expansive and intimate. The main hall often hosts art exhibitions, performances, and events, turning the mirrored walls into a dynamic backdrop for creativity. You might find yourself immersed in a concert, with the music echoing softly against the mirrored surfaces, or walking through an art installation that plays with the concept of reflection and reality.
Looking out from inside Maraya, the windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding AlUla landscapes, framed by the mirrors that make the outside world feel like part of the art within. The experience is both grounding and otherworldly, as the lines between the natural world and human-made art blur in a way that is rarely seen elsewhere.

Read moreWOW, what an experience! From the amazing mirrored building entrance to the warm welcome when dropped off at the front door to the big smiles from Alexandra when you exit off the elevator. The staff is here to make your visit outatanding! Our server Redouane was there for whatever we needed and always with a friendly smile that made us feel at home. We started off with the root beet salad as an appetizer. It was splendid, full of beet flavor with a nice lighter undertone. Then for the main course I had the lamb loin. It comes with 3 different sauces to eat with it but the lamb was tender and so full of flavor that the sauces(which were tasty) were not even needed. Wrapped up in a few sautéed veggies made the presentation elegant. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate fondant. It was a fluffy cake with melted chocolate in the middle along with 2 little scoops of ice cream. It was the perfect ending to my dinner! The price for dinner is a little high but well worth the experience and the time you will spend there. While waiting for our dinner to start, the roof has 3 tier levels to walk on looking back down to the indoor/outdoor seating area or to see the canyon rocks when the lights are lit up at night. It's just something spectacular to see! We were there just for dinner but I hear the concert hall has amazing acoustics. Maybe my next trip I'll get lucky and there will be a...
