Quite challenging to drive and find the place. First of all it is a long drive, around one hour. Then part of the journey was mountain road with sharp corners. Avoid the rainy days. But it is worthy to drive that long way. At the view point you may have a bird’s eye view over the whole city, just like you over look at a map.

جبل مجدر او جبل العريق يعتبر اكبر جبل يحيط بالعلا من الناحية الشرقية ويبلغ ارتفاعه 800 متر، لايمكن صعود الجبل بالسيارة ولايوجد رحلات يومية للصعود ، فقط يتم التنسيق مع فرق الهايكنج والصعود جماعياً حيث ان الصعود صعب ويحتاج لياقة بدنية. يوجد في اعلى الجبل قلاع للمراقبة والحماية القديمة

The Viewpoint is not marked in the area. There is no parking. Google Maps indicates a starting point for the trekking part on the side of a roundabout where one cannot stop. There is no visible path to the Viewpoint from this roundabout. Most likely there is a different path to the Viewpoint then the one...
