Yanbu Lake Park — Attraction in Medina Province

We visited Yanbu Lakes in the beginning of March based on recommendations by locals.

It’s an artificial lake, that’s being said, it needs a lot of improving in terms of cleanliness of both the lake itself and the land.

There was only one coffee shop with limited options.

The public bathroom isn’t the W.C of the year either.

Kids playgrounds are scattered through the park.

I think it could be maintained better to match the beauty of the spring breeze that gives the place its beauty.

Yanbu lake park is a beautiful park in the Royal commission,Yanbu. Artificial man made lake was beautifully designed and well maintained. Lake is filled with a lot of fishes & turtles. So many trees with birds sounds cool. Clean, safe and better in the day than at night. We went in the evening and enjoyed it a lot. My kid loves the swings and slides. Parking space is excellent, not too much rush. Only one coffee shop is there. Make sure to bring food and water. It's the best place to relax & enjoy...

Amazing place, has definitely been refurbished and built up than how it was a couple of years ago. There are beautiful fate palms around part of the lake where you can sit and relax. There are occasional ducks and things swimming around.

However you are at risk of being eaten by snags and mosquitos other than that you are fine. There are some benches near the waterfall and parks and other play things for children.
