The Saqer-Aljazirah Aviation Museum in Riyadh is an amazing outing for only SAR10 per adult. The history of aviation in Saudi Arabia is well presented and covered with an awesome well organised internal display complete with aeroplanes and helicopters standing, hung and neatly arranged inside with great descriptions and explanations alingside. This multifloored display is incredibly well laid out and there are several small video rooms, 2 flight simulators and a literal Aladdin’s cave of aviation treasures displayed. Outside, visitors can see a range of historical aircraft on display including a TriStar (MD), C130 and a broad selection of aircraft which have served in Saudi Arabia. A great place to come to, easy to find, ample parking with welcoming friendly helpful security and reception staff - a great visit and perhaps one of the most fascinating educational visits for children availalable in the kingdom. Good wheelchair access to all floors and areas too. Great place - just check the opening times carefully!!! Big display open to the public being arranged for Saudi National Day 23 September 2021.
