The Saqer-Aljazirah Aviation Museum in Riyadh is an amazing outing for only SAR10 per adult. The history of aviation in Saudi Arabia is well presented and covered with an awesome well organised internal display complete with aeroplanes and helicopters standing, hung and neatly arranged inside with great descriptions and explanations alingside. This multifloored display is incredibly well laid out and there are several small video rooms, 2 flight simulators and a literal Aladdin’s cave of aviation treasures displayed. Outside, visitors can see a range of historical aircraft on display including a TriStar (MD), C130 and a broad selection of aircraft which have served in Saudi Arabia. A great place to come to, easy to find, ample parking with welcoming friendly helpful security and reception staff - a great visit and perhaps one of the most fascinating educational visits for children availalable in the kingdom. Good wheelchair access to all floors and areas too. Great place - just check the opening times carefully!!! Big display open to the public being arranged for Saudi National Day 23 September 2021. A Journey Through the Skies

The Aviation Museum is a wonderful destination for both aviation enthusiasts and families looking for an educational and enjoyable outing. Nestled in a beautifully maintained green area, the museum offers a refreshing and peaceful environment that makes the visit even more special.

One of the main highlights is the impressive collection of aircraft from the past, each displayed with detailed information about its history, design, and role. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn about aviation history while seeing these magnificent machines up close.

Whether you're visiting with friends or family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Children will love exploring the open spaces and aircraft displays, while adults can appreciate the rich history and the peaceful setting.

The entry ticket is very affordable—just 10 SR for adults and 5 SR for children under 10, making it a budget-friendly option for a day out.

Overall, the Aviation Museum offers a perfect blend of history, nature, and fun. Highly recommended for a weekend trip or a...
