Saqer Al-Jazirah Royal Air Force Museum — Attraction in Municipality of Olaya

The Saqer-Aljazirah Aviation Museum in Riyadh is an amazing outing for only SAR10 per adult. The history of aviation in Saudi Arabia is well presented and covered with an awesome well organised internal display complete with aeroplanes and helicopters standing, hung and neatly arranged inside with great descriptions and explanations alingside. This multifloored display is incredibly well laid out and there are several small video rooms, 2 flight simulators and a literal Aladdin’s cave of aviation treasures displayed. Outside, visitors can see a range of historical aircraft on display including a TriStar (MD), C130 and a broad selection of aircraft which have served in Saudi Arabia. A great place to come to, easy to find, ample parking with welcoming friendly helpful security and reception staff - a great visit and perhaps one of the most fascinating educational visits for children availalable in the kingdom. Good place to hangout with family in a weekend.the ambience is very energetic and information. There are display boards in front of every installation. Even infront of fighter planes they have described the capacity there capabilities when its made everything in Arabic and English. Outside they show cased mostly planes that they used domestically and internationally for travel .inside there is different planes mostly fighter planes showcased with description about its.they have different shows about the flights ,manufacturing ,assembly, even service's are there in big television inside the museum. All can watch it full by sitting in chair that they have arranged. They have displays of uniforms ,badges, aerosuites etc in the second floor.
