Masjid Al-Tawba is also known as the Messenger Mosque it is situated at the center of Tabuk city, this Mosque is also known by the others name too "like Castle Mosque" Initially this Mosque was made of mud and some leaf's of dates and wood but during the Caliph of Umar-bin-Abdul-aziz (Umar-2) it's is cemented but later Ottoman's Sultan in 1652 again rebuilt it with traditional minaret and arched with plush carpet and beautiful chandeliers. In Islamic calender 9 hijri and in English calender 630 AD Prophet Muhammad PBUH with 30,000 companion arrived Tabuk for the battle of Tabuk against the Roman army's but the battle didn't take place. Almost 20 day's Prophet Muhammad camped here during his stay the Famous Surah Al-Tawba (Chapter 9th and 10th) also revealed here on Prophet Muhammad PBUH that's why this Mosque is Known as Masjid Al-Tawba.
