In the city of Unaizah, in AlQassim, Al Musawkaf Traditional Market stands proudly, representing a cherished piece of Al Qassim's urban heritage. As soon as we set foot in the market, the sights, sounds, and smells made us feel like we've traveled back in time. Auctioneers' calls echo through the air as they sell rare antique artifacts, while market stalls are filled with women selling mouthwatering traditional foods bursting with authentic flavors. The old residents offer a live demonstration of handicrafts, where visitors can witness the intricate wood carving, skilled basket making, and delicate pottery. It's a cultural celebration that never ends and a hot spot for tourists near and far. This heritage establishment has a traditional design with a courtyard and mud arcades. Within the market, there is an array of attractions to explore. These include a museum showcasing Islamic, Saudi, and local history. On top of that! The traditional councils work tirelessly to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the area, ensuring that traditions and customs are passed down through generations. There was an annual celebration of ancestral heritage getting held in the vibrant market; we partook in a multitude of activities at the Al Musawkaf Traditional...

Beautiful place. They had a heritage exhibition inside, and the people were so welcoming and hospitable. They had different rooms dedicated to historical aspects of their history, heritage and culture. The also had shops around that sold custom goods. Artistic place decorated tastefully to enhance the beauty of living in the old era. It has an area run by women entrepreneurs selling sweets like Kleeja and other biscuits and spices. Inside, there is a large area to have traditional Arabic coffee with sweets. There are shops to purchase traditional dresses and small things for home.
