Very modest and in bad shape, house that vojvoda Stepa was born in desperately need attention and funding. It's a great thing that anything was left after all this time and small house with four rooms have lots of paitings, pictures, maps and relevant dates and information about vojvoda Stepa and major events that he took place in or lived though. I wish it was much more as there aren't any personal items or details about his childhood, family, etc. Person who works there is very passionate and if you are interested, you can here lots of stories about Stepa as a kid...

Resident guide is really nice, keen to share details on history of Serbia and Stepa, anecdotes from his life, as well to answer any questions. He is quite interested into the thematic, and very authentic guy, is was nice meeting and chatting with him. Read moreIn house you can see the exhibition about Stepa Stepanovic life and his carrier in military (mostly). In another room inside the house, we can see how it looks the kitchen in old time. Another thing, from this place, since it is located in higher place, you can see beautiful scenery (as bonus). Probably, for foreigner it is not really interested, since this figure is very specific to Serbia....
