Stara Planina National Park — Attraction in City of Pirot

The best hotel inside the Nature Park is Stara Planina Falkensteiner. From there you can made very beautiful walks. Every year the facilities for skiing are better. But we especially like to be there between spring and autumn. Besides the Falkensteiner Hotel there are other accomodations like two hotels right near to to the tops of Babin Zub and Midzor and a rather beautifule pension. Just outside the park you can find Hotel StarA at Planinarski Dom. The villages around the Nature Park are Kalna and Balta Berilovac. The Stara Planina are famous for their little rivers and many waterfalls, some of them belonging to the highest and most beautiful of Serbia. Nature Park Stara Planina is such an amazing place to be and a great place for vacation. There are many great places to visit and enjoy. Some of the best are: Babin Zub, Midzor - the highest mountain peak in the Serbia, Zavoj Lake, Kozji Kamen - breathless view over the whole Zavoj lake, Tupavica, Piljski, Cunguljski and many more waterfalls, Vrelo, Topli Do river - known as a little Colorado, Slavinjsko grlo,... These are just a few of the most popular and most exciting places to visit. Vracanje u prirodu… nesto savrseno. Put do samog vrha je na nekim mestina losiji, ali je priroda neprocenjiva. Do samog vrha stare planine dolazi se iz mesta Kalne. Zimi ima vise desavanja usput, znog skijalista koje je na vrhu pa samim tim i mestani usput rade kao i lokalne kafane i restorani. Dok u prolece, leto i jesen je slabije turista pa samim tim i slabije rade restorani. Zato ako dolazite u tom periodu, obezbedite se jer na samom vrhu nema prodavnice. Preporuka za obilazak, sama planina je bogata florom i faunom. Svaki minut dal po vedrom ili kisovitom vremenu, vredan je. Na samoj planini u toku dana je moguce doziveti sva godisnja doba. Mi smo od jutra do popodneva imali i kisu i maglu i sunce… snega je bilo na samom vrhu u ovo doba godine. Srecno, lep odmor i prepustite se prirodi 🙌

Returning to nature... something perfect. The road to the very top is on some terrain, but the nature is priceless. The very top of the old mountain can be reached from the town of Kalne. In winter, there are more events along the way, the sweat of the skiers who are at the top and therefore the locals work along the way as well as the local bars and restaurants. While in spring, summer and autumn, there are fewer tourists and therefore less restaurants. Therefore, if you come during that period, make sure that there is no store at the very top. Recommended for a tour, the mountain itself is rich in flora and fauna. Every minute, in clear or rainy weather, is valuable. On the mountain itself, it is possible to experience all seasons during the day. From morning to afternoon, we had both rain and fog and sun... there was snow at the very top at this time of the year. Good luck, have a nice vacation and let yourself go...
