Winery Milijan Jelic - Valjevo — Attraction in City of Valjevo

We had a great experience visiting Winery Milijan Jelić! We reached out by email beforehand to ask about tastings, and their response was quick, friendly, and helpful. Even though we don’t speak Serbian and our host didn’t speak much English, we were able to communicate just fine using Google Translate. We definitely recommend having a translation app handy if you don’t speak the language.

Our host was very kind and did a great job explaining the wines despite the language barrier. A tasting of four wines cost 500 dinars, which felt like great value. The wines were delicious, and the orange wines in particular stood out. It's something totally new for us! (And just to clarify: “orange” refers to the color, not the fruit flavor.)

Pa PETICA je mozda malo mnogo ali ako prihvatimo kako su vlasnici zamislili ovo, nase je da postujemo, a ne da poredimo sa nekom vinarijama koje imaju restorane u svom sastavu. PETICA, pre svega za mladog gospodina koji nam je bio domacin i koji zna da prezentuje pricu. Dakle edukovan domacin. Ambijent je simpatican Topao Primaju se individualne posete,sto je veliki plus. Vina su vrlo korektna. Svakako Morava kao ne tako cesta sorta kod nas. DOBRO ODRADJENA. Od crvenih.... Pa na mene je ostavio utisak punot noir.... Svakako nebiolo kojih ovde kod nas mislim ni da nema... I kao best buy vinarije KAMENIČANKA. Moja bi sugestija bila da ipak obezbede hladne plate za slucajne prolaznike.
