Đavolja Varoš — Attraction in Kursumlija Municipality

It takes around 2h to come from Niš, but absolutely worth the trip. Small parking for maybe maximum of 50 cars, and entrance fee of only 350 Serbian dinars. You 'll get a small paper with mostly local advertising, I advise you to jump to internet and read the legends about the place, where you'll get much more information. From parking lot to formation, road goes through the woods and very steap stairs , but it's not that long , about 15 minutes walking and climbing. On the top, a stunning view of the rock formation and surrounding. A place definitely looks great during sunny days. I've seen strong lights installed and I wonder if it is possible to visit this place in the evening. Must be amazing.

This juwel of nature is definitely worth visiting. Be aware of narrow roads and deep holes which might damage your car.

If possible take a local guide to tell you the story about Saxon mines and local legends instead of searching...
