When staying on Mahe , the marine park is a must see for all visitors to the Seychelles. The marine park boasts an abundance of sea life from stingrays , sea turtles to a variety a fish. The water around the island is turquoise blue with coral reefs although effected by global warming many years ago are still wonderful to see. The white sand bottom , makes it a wonderful place for snorkelling. Round island which is maintained by the international rotary club is filled with giant tortoises and stories of pirates . Other islands in the park boast creole restaurants, villas and resorts. If you are you are looking to get to the island, there are abundance of tour operators that run from the...

Students on Cerf island, as part of NGO, ran free guided snorkeling, see details on attached; they have some nurseries too - but if you go, they'll talk you through what they do to protect the corals as part of their briefing. We have visited in November - clearest waters perfect for snorkeling. Do bring rush guards or t-shirt as well as sunscreen to protect yourself as the sun in Seychelles is extremely hot, and remember to drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated. Beautiful. Highly...

There are definitely some things to see, and its worth a visit if you are in Mahe and looking for a fun activity. If you are a professional diver then you probably would not get too excited. A local guide told us that the high temperature of the water, due to global warming trend killed many of the corals. The photos I added are shot through the glass floor of the boat, the snorkeling view is much better.
