Love this beach. Price of entry, nothing too high, very popular with foreigners and locals. They have tables to rent and umbrellas included. There is also a bar/restaurant, depending on season they have fantastic seafood. Maybe the best beach of the world. On the back of the restaurant there is a local market, there are wood carvings, bags, trousers, shirts t-shirts. The majority of the clothing places make clothing up to measure on the spot in an hour they make shirts or trousers or any garment they could make. Talk the price in advance, before hand that's a wise idea and advice. There are toilets in the beach. The places is maybe one of the best beaches I have seen in Sierra Leone, during the week is empty, during the weekend is...
Read moreYou're basically coming for the beach. The accommodation facility is very basic, but the staff are usually friendly and helpful. As well as u can plan for office outing and beach fista with born fire and dj with white stand . There are 12 double rooms that view the ocean. The rooms remain very basic with no luxuries but the sound of the waves and the tropical birds. They are ever more charming as everything is clearly handmade. The rooms are equipped with a mosquito net, bucket shower and a fan. Included in the price is breakfast: toast with jam and eggs, coffee and tea. If ordered the evening in advance, the chefs are happy to slice up a fresh platter of fruit. Towels are not provided, as happens at most smaller guesthouses in...

Tokeh (just across the estuary) is much quieter if you want some peace (when tide is out you can wade across) but there's a little shuttle / row boat in operation for a small fee. River No 2 Beach is loud with loud music and obnoxious people often. A few restaurants, all selling same same, some with sun loungers most with tables and umbrellas. Excellent seafood. Like any of Sierra Leone's beaches (outside of Freetown), depending on what time of year you go will depend on how much litter you will find - including medical waste and glass...
