Would rate 4 star if the staff wasn't so bochap. The first time we came, kids were allowed to play by themselves, now this time round, when we say one pass for kid, the staff gave us "are you stupid?" look and said "children below 7 has to be accompanies by at least one adult". well, fine, we r forced to by the family pass. it says, four sessions for family, and we thought, whole family of four go in four times at 65 seems very reasonable price. so after we purchase, staff ask who going in, i said three of us, so he said, ok, u three go in left with one pass. OH WAIT! WHAT? the tv said four sessions for families of four members and now it is four pass? fine... dad go in with kid then. the point im trying to make is
we do not see any terms or conditions being displayed clearly that kid has to be accompanied by an adult (i know this is resonable, but at least show it somewhere) is this just a way to ensure safty of kiddos or just a way to force adult to go in so they can charge more? oh well, neither do i nor my husband want to play anws, and it costs 40 bucks if anyone of us goes there with kid,so wud i want to even go for again the next time? with the extra 20 bucks, my husband could just sitting down there inside and watching only while im standing outside watching as well.. may as well just go to the gym next door. session always start at zun zun one hr, so if u missed the session start, u need to wait, till the next hour (1pm, 2pm like that). so we bought the pass only then the staff told us we need to wait 15 min more before entering, what if we have a movie to catch after? why don highly at the point of purchse???
it could b fun as what others said, but to me, i simply dont like the service and the rules not being clearly indicated or comminicated before purchase. to me this is cheating and it is integrity. I hate the feeling of being threated like an idiot who has the money to pay. not to say im a...
Read moreIt’s first time in Singapore, playing in the air. My children loves it - especially the pool of small balls (blue / white colour balls). See photos.
See my receipt, $20 each kid but I got $2 off today so it’s nice :) strictly ONE hour for $20 and wear NO skirt please. Covered shoes is a MUST to wear while playing (I do think whether if they consider just socks instead of shoes... well.... we wear shoes to toilet and everywhere - you know it’s kind of dirty I feel. Having the shoes stepping on the little balls and kids just rub themselves to it... I do prefer it to be more hygienic if possible).
It’s quite big area to play as it take up 4 storey of air space. It seems like a young Caucasian guy owns, so whoever it is, thanks for bringing such ideals to Singapore, cheers to it 😉👍🏻.
#02 shopping mall: Level 1 net the pool of small balls is so fun that my children actually bury themselves inside it 😢, well it’s fun for them but to me, I’m worried about other kids will jump into the pool too. There’s +/- for everything nothing is perfect so I just have to let loose of my worries, anyway there are 1 staff to look after each level. There is also a limit to maximum pax allowed each session, my session was 8.30pm to 9.25pm. Adults are welcome.
#03 shopping mall: Level 2 net, not nice to play as the big yellow dog is boring (see pic), kids cannot climb on top of yellow dog and only allow just jumping around it therefore it seems to be a waste space for this area.
#04 shopping mall: Level 3 net, somehow have its special. It’s like a little 2 storey maze. Seriously parents, don’t try to crawl in as if you are kids, you probably need staff assistance to help you out of the net maze.
#05 shopping mall: Level 4 net, m..... just a slide, nothing much, not fun, boring.
Overall, great fun experience.
To me it’s quite pricey for an hour play.
I review what I experienced....
Read moreI personally witnessed a very distressing incident. A young boy was left terrified and stranded in the middle of the netted play area. While other older kids children just beside & around him, he was clearly struggling and didn’t have the strength to get up. He was pounced around as the net lifted him violently and the older kids around him didnt care about him at all. His facial expression showed he was scared and overwhelmed as older kids continued to jump relentlessly.
He began to cry, so I quickly alerted the cashier to look above at the situation. To my shock, the older kids then started rolling a large (though lightweight) ball over him, pinning him down. The boy was in visible shock and cried even louder.
What concerned me most was the absence of any staff supervising the area to step in or help. I suggested to the cashier that perhaps the play levels could be separated by age groups, but was told it would be too difficult to control. If that’s the case, how can parents feel confident that their children are safe?
There seemed to be staff stationed at various levels, but none appeared to be actively monitoring or managing the activity. There isnt any crowd control as well. I immediately told my own son not to enter, as it felt too unsafe.
If safety isn't a priority for the business, then parents need to think twice before letting their young kids play unsupervised—especially with older, rowdier kids in the same space. In fact, it may be necessary for parents to accompany younger children throughout to ensure their wellbeing if it is a must to go.
After seeing the situation just now. it breaks my heart looking at how helpless the boy was with no aid from the staff. I dont think i will let my boy on such activity esp during public holiday...
