Very dated premise, see photos, peeling, dirty walls etc. Expensive for a foot massage at $56 (same as a body massage for 60mins). Its my fault I didnt ask before upfront payment if they have a proper seat and foot soak (answer is neither), only a towel cleanse and you seat prop up on bed for the massage. Strength is good but no technique (masseur admitted they are better with body massages) but she was helpful and will press on the points that needed more attention if asked to. Was escaping the rain, there are cleaner and better options nearby - will not return. Also very odd, they asked to see my ID and took it from me upon registration, which I think in this time and age should not be required anymore due to PDPA (my NRIC num should be confidential) - I forgot about it at the time.

Came here a few times. Usually a 4 to 5 stars for their massage service. Was served by lili/lily a Chinese masseur who came only in Jan this year and she used mainly her knees, elbows and knuckles on areas possible to do so. Both my hands were bruised and a nail scratch on my right hand. Prob post circuit breaker I think it's time they do a proper clean up. My eye was irritated with dust when I left. No hand sanitizer in sight for customers. N after I drank the ginger tea they served I looked at the cup n regretted. I hope for the place to take note of its cleanliness, let customers have faith to return for the good massage you usually have. Maybe someone to check on the n masseurs technique to ensure high quality at all times.

Booked a last minute massage with my partner and was grateful that they accommodated my request for a couple room. First time trying this place and was really happy with the ambience. The price is quite standard too. The employees were really friendly and nice. However, the massage itself wasn’t the best. My masseuse was stronger when using her right arm so the overall massage was uneven. She would also place more pressure near my bones instead of my muscles, which was very uncomfortable. I’m also a ticklish person and she wasn’t aware of the pressure points to press when massaging ticklish spots. As with any other massage place, its always a gamble when you’re coming for the first time. This is just my personal experience. 🙏

Had a wonderful experience here, both in terms of massage quality and customer service:

First, I had a 90min Oriental Oil Massage, and the therapist did an excellent job, focussing on my back as I had asked her to and applying the pressure just right. The music was relaxing and not too loud, and the temperature pleasant, too.

When it came to paying, there was a small hiccup at first, as the kind woman at the front desk had accidentally charged the wrong (higher) amount to my card first. I spotted the error a minute or two later and she immediately proceeded to void the sale and returned the slip showing the refund to me. Thereafter she billed me the correct amount and everything seemed to be in order.

It was only a few weeks later when I checked my credit card statement that I saw that the first, erroneous, transaction had not been refunded to my card. So I checked the credit card slips again and realised that the refund had, in fact, been made to a different card to mine. Now, I never suspected that this had been done deliberately, and that it was an innocent mistake instead; we all make mistakes after all, and nobody is perfect. Nonetheless, I feared that it would be a difficult conversation that I would have to have with Ancient Dynasty.

Instead, when I showed up a few evenings later and explained everything that had happened, the lady at the front desk (Nicole) listened patiently and politely, then called her manager and, without even arguing, refunded me the money on the spot, in cash. I was blown away with how quickly, politely and professionally they dealt with the situation and left a very happy customer, who will now return many times to have a massage there again.

In summary, I highly recommend the place, both for the quality of the massage I received and the service quality I experienced! Thank you to Nicole and your team - you are doing...

Have been patronizing Ancient Dynasty (Siglap branch) for quite a while. Will always look for my regular therapist as her massage skills is really tops, 5 out of 5 in fact. No brute force, she will ease her strength gradually on the tight spots, push your boundaries a little. At the end of the massage, it's always a good feeling and you won't feel as if you have been 'wallop' during the session.

What I would suggest to the management: Please check your aircon. I went for a session today and the aircon is not blowing cold air. Have put it to 16 degrees and it didn't bring the room temperature down. By the end of the session, I felt I was in sauna. Please look at changing the guest towels, which are in bath towel size. The current ones are very thin, not even cotton towel material. Not much absorbency plus it's a little transparent as well. Operational hours till 3am. This is my personal point of view but I find that if you do not have a full spa facility (sauna, onsen and etc), the operational hours would best kept till 11pm latest. Staff would need to clean up the place and setup for next day's operational. Since massage is a labour intensive job, adequate rest is definitely required. Side note - I have done massages before and I do know how it feels for working 12 hours or more and having back to back clients with no proper break. If operations were to be from 11am to next day 3am, and this goes on everyday, it will definitely drain the therapists (they are humans too!).

Overall, I would still recommend Ancient Dynasty to those who are looking for solid massage that helps to...

Lovely place with minimalistic but nice facilities. I called very last minute and managed to book a massage slot scheduled 45 minutes later (off-peak). Payment is made before the massage, and I had the off-peak promotion price of $56 for 60 minutes. My masseuse, Anna, was skilled and experienced, and massaged away my 2 consecutive days’ worth of soreness from brutal training. She kneaded at my knots and stroked my lymph nodes until all blockage was cleared. Immediately after, my body was slightly aching from the massage pain, but when I got up off the bed, I felt much looser and my soreness was significantly diminished. Because I was curious about what she was doing at times, we struck up conversation occasionally, but she was also content to let me doze lightly in silence as she kneaded my scalp and shoulders.

Do note that their storage locker within the room is quite small, so your bag may not be able to fit in. I managed to place mine on top of the locker instead, but if you’re particular about that then you might want to bring a smaller bag.

The rooms are built in a way (mine was, at least) such that the air conditioner is placed at the foot of the bed, blowing at you. Mine wasn’t too bad, but if you’re sensitive you can ask your masseuse to turn down the AC or adjust the vane direction.

Overall, I will return if the...
