Easy to navigate from Expo mrt station, the signs are big. Sheltered all the way from mrt station.
DAESUNG D's Wave in Singapore on 2 August 2025 was just amazing, the vocal, humour and vibe are so good. View is nice from section 209 row A, chose elevated section as I'm too short to see anything from the front sections (104-108).
However, I hope the air-conditioning can be a little stronger as we got hot when the vibe is high 😂 I appreciate the space between each level for the elevated seats but the seats are so packed, we're so close to the person beside us, it's uncomfortable even for me as a small size person. Please think of people who are big boned or muscular. During the security check, only empty water bottle is allowed, empty disposable bottle (ice mountain/dasani) are not allowed. They have water refiller there and also sell water at $2 (if i remember correctly) 😂 only remember is very expensive.
VIP ticket is only at SG$296 (inclusive of $8 booking fee). If only SAH Entertainment didn't messed up the benefits raffle, the whole experience would be so much better. They gatekeep the benefits for sponsors. And after fans voiced out the unhappiness/anger, they redraw twice (still gatekeeping) at near 11pm before the day of event. And finally redrawing the third time with the witness of another organiser at 3am on the day of event, I got the send off benefits.
Pray they don't do any kpop concert anymore if want to play cheat to please the sponsors. But still, thanks for bringing DAESUNG...
Read moreThe sound system is quite lacking for concerts and the seats are uncomfortable and lack any height difference between rows. Overall very poor value for money when you consider how much the tickets are being sold at. I don’t think any concert here should have tickets priced above $100. Stage placement in contrast to the seats is also pretty terrible; the side sections have to turn 90 degrees to see the stage. Ground staff are unfortunately incompetent in understanding how concerts work and frequently walk up and down the aisles without crouching and end up obstructing the audience’s view (and ruining everyone’s concert footage at key moments). The vibe of the venue is extremely sterile (it’s supposed to be an exhibition hall after all). If effort is made to decorate the place more like a concert venue, this would be excusable, but besides the photo zone, no other banners were hung up. Staff also need to be more proactive in redirecting queues for the ladies room as only 9 minutes to the start of the show did someone come along and say another washroom further inside was empty. Speaking of which, three cubicles for each female washroom is just unacceptable. The one star is for the ease of getting to the location and for adequate signages...
Read moreMaybe I am very used to indoor stadium and national stadium queue system. My 1st time here and I was surprised that the queue stretched all the outside to the pavement and snaked into the main entrance. Ticket scanning got messy as there was only 1 person holding the scanning device at each entry. I almost walked through without scanning. Can imagine if it was alooot of people, it would be difficult for her to control the crowd.
Food wise, nacho cheese was good. The nuggets? Oh wow I wonder what brand it was because they should stop production. I have never had such low quality nuggets in my life. It was spongey, like eating styrofoam. Look at my pic, it is airy like donut/tau pok. For $12, it is a joke.
Seats were SO tightly packed. I am regular sized and it was already so uncomfortable. I cannot imagine how a man would feel. Shoulder to shoulder. I might as well hug the people next to me.
Sound system was bad. Mariah came out, could barely hear her singing. The instruments were SO loud. At one point, Mariah sounded like a broken record because of the mic/speaker. Luckily it got a bit better after the 1st song.
Overall, I don't think this place should be used for concert. I won't come here again unless I really like...
