Berlayar Creek is a wonderful spot in Singapore for nature enthusiasts and anyone looking to immerse themselves in a peaceful, green environment. Tucked away near Labrador Nature Reserve, this hidden gem offers a serene retreat where you can experience the beauty of mangrove ecosystems up close. The boardwalk at Berlayar Creek is a particular highlight, allowing visitors to walk right over the water and through the mangroves. It’s an excellent place to observe wildlife, including various species of birds, fish, and even the occasional otter. The tranquility of the creek, coupled with the sounds of nature, makes it a perfect escape from the city’s hustle. The area is well-maintained, with clear signage that provides interesting information about the local flora and fauna. Whether you're an avid birdwatcher or just looking for a peaceful place to stroll, the creek offers a unique blend of natural beauty and educational value. Another great aspect of Berlayar Creek is its connection to the Southern Ridges and Labrador Nature Reserve, making it a great starting point for a longer hike or just a short, relaxing visit. The easy access to the surrounding parks and trails adds to the appeal, especially for those looking to explore more of Singapore’s green spaces. Overall, Berlayar Creek is a beautiful and calming place to visit, offering a glimpse of Singapore’s rich biodiversity and a peaceful environment for all to enjoy.

Love this place. 3+km to Harbourfront. It starts with mangrove and walk to the end to get to the sea. Always feels like we’re not in SG, very much an Australian marina feel. Sea breeze will wipe your worries away. It gets crowded by 10am but I have no problems going early or go during weekdays. Do the walk both ways to clock that 10,000 steps, it is especially nice after the rain on a day when the tides are in. Say hello to the resident squirrels, they didn’t seem shy at all! This place has ramps and is stroller, wheelchair friendly. 19 dec2020 - saw a huge monitor lizard swimming up the creek and a family of monkeys scampering across the railings barely 1 foot away! This was awesome!

🌳🌿🌾 I have been here at least 5 times over the years. It is an interesting long walk and one of my favourite boardwalk strolls too. ✴️ First, I take the train to Labrador MRT Station. ● 🌿 I enter Berlayer Creek boardwalk first.➡️ This is the mangrove swamp portion. 🟢 Then I continue to walk for a while ( about 20 mins or so) and finally, I will come up to the open sea, which is the Bukit Chermin Boardwalk portion. ✳️ I usually come here in the evenings and the seabreeze is just lovely. ✅️I highly recommend this boardwalk area. ✨️ It is not too crowded and the sunset is awesome to look at.

Favorite lunch time walk or jogging path for folks working in nearby office complex, eg: Mapletree Business Centre. It starts just behind the Labrador MRT station along a shady trail which are popular for bird watchers and photographers. The trail then branches either to Bukit Chermin Boardwalk which is closed now due to a construction project or toward to see and Labrador Nature Reserve where you see some fishermen trying their luck. Once in a while you'll see monkeys, but more often monitor lizards. The black spitting cobra is around but rarely visible.

Belayer Creek broadwalk starts from the exit of Labrador MRT station and goes all the way to the channel facing Sentosa. It runs for nearly a kilometer and follows the mangrove towards the open channel. The walk itself is pleasant during morning and afternoon but can get rather stuffy on midday when the sun is high up. There are 2 stops for visitors to rest and enjoy the quiet air of the mangrove. Cyclists are supposed to dismount and push their bikes throughout the broadwalk.

Singapore‘s urban mangrove situated between Reflections at Keppel Bay and Labrador Park MRT, skirting the foothills of Bukit Chermin. Opened in 2012, the walk is about 960m or a 20-min stroll. Recommended for evening or morning walks although as the canopy of trees provide decent shade throughout the day. Do venture out to the Keppel Bay Marina or head down to the Labrador Park Jetty on the opposite direction as you exit.
