Our favorite Ikea! It's huge but nicely organized with different categories of furnitures in different sections. There's also display show rooms that changes every now and then so there's always new set up examples for you to consider! It's as if you have a free interior designing service. The self collection racks are easily identifiable so it's no trouble finding your products! Staffs are friendly and helpful too! They also have a restaurant and food counters in the same building for a decent meal or a quick bite. Customer service area is right after checkout to assist with delivery arrangements, alterations request, exchange or refund etc. I used to dislike ikea products thinking they could be of poor quality given the price point. After purchasing our first Ikea product I'm an official fan now! Our first Ikea item was a chest of drawers and 8yrs later still standing strong and good as new! Went back for a second one 2 yrs ago. Another favorite is the glass display cabinet that is below around sgd80 if i remember correctly. We have 6 at home cause of the great quality and low price! In addition, we have also purchased their wooden single bed frame, matteress, metal frame loft bed and metal cabinets and of course all the miscellaneous stuffs like batteries, cleaning clothes etc.

Unlike the IKEAs in the U.S., the cafe is probably 2 to 3 times the size, which reflects well Singaporeans' love for food. Besides the famous Swedish meatballs, you can find local delicacies like nasi lemak and friend chicken wings. 50 cents coffee with free refills is a steal too. The level with various setup of living rooms, kitchens, study, bedrooms and bathrooms never disappoint. A great way to showcase the use of their furnitures and fixtures. This is always a good place to visit for design inspiration especially when you are furnishing & decorating smaller spaces. A trip to IKEA is always a treat and those with children, you may even drop them off at a childcare if you know your child might get bored or refused to leave the section with kids' stuff. And like most retailers in the US, the IKEA in Singapore allows for return/exchange. However, despite having multiple counter, the one time I had something to return, there was only one staff serving up to 10 waiting customers. It makes for a long wait.

My feedback is related to Online Purchase, not IKEA Tampines. But since there is no such entry in Google Map, I added it to IKEA Tampines. It doesnt matter. It is the same company. Nice companies abound, but sometimes the people running them and the management make it stink. I ordered a Luroy online, and paid for delivery. It arrived soaked in rain. Luroy is a wooden product. Tell me whatever finishing or coating it went through, it is still wood. The Luroy will be the foundation of the raised bed mattress. It is therefore a safety issue. I suggest Ikea to rethink how the delivery of the Luroy should be. Maybe, they should wrap in a plastic or something. They replaced it. I reported the issue to suggest improvements, but they dont reply. That is why I gave a 3 points, in 4 or 5. Somebody out there stinks in that company. I suggest to buyers that this is a great company, and you just have to watch out for yourself, if the item will be delivered, and it is a product that can get harmed by Singapore weather (rain, in this case), during delivery. Ask them how they will deliver it. The delivery is .. I forgot, I think 80$, and therefore, should be a premium cared delivery, instead of a stinky delivery. Another issue that customers need to be careful about when dealing with Ikea, is that the delivery fee is non-refundable, regardless of if anything is delivered or not (in case of cancelled order, for example). If anything is not delivered, no effort was done. How can the delivery fee not be reversible? Before you commit on delivery, you have to be sure (like a psychic who can see the future), that you will not cancel the delivery.

Paid for delivery and assembly of cabinet at ikea Tampines . Tell my mum that due to floor not even that is why the cabinet door is not even as shown in picture . My mum repeat many time but assembly guy say is the issue with her flooring not even . No choice but to let him go . Called in the same day to customer hotline , refer to a WhatsApp link . After following all the instructions and sending in all the picture of the cabinet , they just reply all busy at the moment , get back to me asap . Call in customer service hotline the next 2 days and they get back to me saying the only available date is 16th December 2024 . Tell the customer service that I’m not sure of my mum availability and I will call back to reschedule and they say cannot . Therefore I secured the 16th December appointment date and they inform me to call in to reschedule if I’m unavailable on that day. On the 16th December , my mum waited the whole afternoon and there is no one coming to reassemble therefore I call in once again to customer hotline to check and they tell me the appointment schedule is not confirm . I demanded to get a full refund for return of the items and they say they only refund the assembling fee so that means they push back the ball to me . I have to do the assembling myself and not able to do the return . What a experience from such big company when we are paying for the assembling and because of their mistake we have to suffer . Such aligning of the door can be the floor problem ? Buy at your own risk from such service .

We bought several items at IKEA, but when we got home, we realized we had left one at the cashier, we went back to customer service for help. Their handling of the situation was disappointing, we even saw our item at one of the cashier counters but couldn’t claim it because we couldn’t prove it was ours. They asked us to repurchase the item and promised to check the security footage and get back to us. Almost a month has passed, and we haven't heard anything. We've had to constantly follow up. Even on our second visit, we couldn’t get a refund. When we tried to discuss it with the customer service representative, they were defensive and unsympathetic. They even implied that the $24.90 we were trying to recover was trivial and suggested it was our responsibility to check everything before leaving. They made various excuses, like the team handling security footage being understaffed and dealing with many similar cases each month. Essentially, they were saying that since we forgot the item, it was our fault, and we should just accept it. Imagine this: We paid for an item, left it at the store, and when we returned to claim it, IKEA refused to return the item or refund us, and now the missing item was back on the shelf for sale. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not their priority. It’s hard to believe that a big company like IKEA could have such disappointing and poorly managed systems and service.

Tampines IKEA is the bigger than the Alexandra outlet. So there is a huge product range. If you know what is the exact product that you are going to buy it's better note down the product number (Ex:193.054.59) from the online site. Then it's very easy to find out the item in store. Because many staff members are not helpful with finding the products. Some are helpful. But not all the time. So you have to find out what you exactly need yourself. The food court is crowded in the weekends. Have to stand in the queue for some time. The products are really good. Some are bit expensive. Some are very reasonable price. These products are durable, easy to assemble. Mix and match all the items under one roof is the best thing in here. IKEA transportation is available but if you need a cheaper transportation, there is a counter for that near the checkout area(Not 100% sure that service is available all the time)
