As Malaysians living in Singapore, we often crave traditional Malaysian food that we can't get here or it doesn't taste the same. My dad (Hoe Wai - Uncle Kong you would remember him he frequents your restaurant often haha!) found this place and brought me here and I was blown away by how legit it tasted. Soup was tasty and tasted like the ones back home. Uncle Kong is super friendly and chatted about food as my family are food people and I was impressed he knew all the OG good food places in KL that has existed during my grandparents generation. He definitely knows good food! Small place that doesn't seat many people and a little bit of a travel to get there if you don't stay around the area/don't have a car, but definitely worth the commute. I've had cravings on and off since the first time I tried it. Uncle Kong's friendly chats and it being a small restaurant makes it feel like home ā¤ļø. Great food, great vibes, great experience. Thanks for the great food and hospitality! 100% recommend for those looking for original legit...

Their portion is pretty generous too. Lastly, the shop owners are really nice and friendly to talk to. Overall, it gives me a warm and homely vibes eating the hor fun in a cosy, small shop. Would definitely...

Food was Disappointing.
Felt deceived.
The actual portion was a much reduced portion of what I saw in the photos.
The photo of the hor fun at the shop entrance had lots of chives, big prawns and chicken slices.
I was shocked to see the actual bowl served. They were only 3 tiny shrimps, 3-4 thin and short pieces of chives, 3-4 very tiny thin and short chicken slices.
It was a down-sized version of the photo.
I paid $7.80 for a big bowl of carbs (hor fun), very little protein and vegetables.
If they want to save cost, I understand.
But please be honest in marketing and advertising.
I felt they over-promised and under delivered.
