Jurong Central Park, an 8-hectare regional park in the Jurong West area of Singapore, is a delightful oasis for families and nature enthusiasts. Here’s what makes it a must-visit:

Life-Sized Board Games: As the first park in Singapore to feature life-sized board game elements, Jurong Central Park brings outdoor fun to a whole new level. Imagine playing classic games in a lush green setting! Here are the highlights: Ludo Garden: This landscaped garden is designed to resemble the popular Ludo board game. Colored tiles and columns create a playful atmosphere. Roll the dice, move your pieces, and race to the center for victory! Snakes & Ladders Playground: Yes, you read that right! The park boasts a life-sized Snakes & Ladders playground. Climb ladders, slide down snakes, and relive childhood memories. Dice Tower: The clock tower not only tells time but also generates random numbers for your Ludo game. It’s like having a giant dice right in the park! Natural Beauty: Beyond the games, Jurong Central Park offers serene spots to connect with nature: Pond: Stroll over to the pond and observe aquatic plants, dragonflies, and various bird species. It’s a peaceful retreat within the bustling city. Tembusu Tree: These majestic trees can grow up to 30 meters tall. Look out for their cream or white-colored flowers and red berries that attract birds. Pulai Penipu Paya: Native to the region, this tree features narrow lance-shaped leaves and scented white flowers. Gelam/Paper Bark Tree: Standing up to 40 meters tall, this native tree is a favorite among birds and bees. Madagascar Almond/Umbrella Tree: Picture a small to medium-sized tree with neatly layered tiers in its crown. Community Gathering: Jurong Central Park isn’t just about games and greenery. It’s a place where families gather, neighbors chat, and community bonds strengthen. Whether you’re shooting hoops at the basketball court or watching your little ones play in the playground, you’ll feel the warmth of shared experiences.

So, grab your family, roll the dice, and explore this unique park where playtime meets...

🌳Jurong Central Park is located across Jurong Point. 🪱🪜🛩️The Park have unique Playgrounds, with one featuring a life-sized snakes & ladders game and another play area with life-sized ludo game, although these were a little rundown now. 🎲A distinctive red Dice Clock Tower stands majestically right across Boon Lay MRT Station at the West Entrance ❓Guess what is the Tower for? 🛝There is a regular sand-filled Playground with slides, see-saw, car ride, carousel, balance beam and more for smaller children. 🧢This spacious green lung is well shaded with jogging paths winding around the entire serene Park. 🪻Over at the southern end of the lush Park is a Water Lily Pond with an abundance of lovely water lilies and other aquatic plants. 🐛🐝🌺🌽Allotment Garden, Community-in-Bloom Garden and Boon Lay Nature Garden, allow gardening enthusiasts to grow herbs, vegetables and ornamental plants. 🏋️A recently upgraded Fitness Corner located located across the Water Lily Garden, let joggers warm up and have some muscle toning and strength training in between the regular jogging. 🛴🚲The Park is well connected to various Park Connectors. 🚊It's conveniently located right at the doorstep of Boon Lay MRT. 🌳Jurong Central Park is a conveniently located green lung with regular Park amenities for...

Easily accessible via Boon Lay MRT, this quiet family oriented park has something for everyone. There are paved walkway loops, benches for resting and several play areas for different ages. Green grassy areas are nice for a picnic or for little kids to play tag. There are lots of bicycles around to rent via cellphone app. There is a McDonald's restaurant in the center of it all in case you need food. One unique feature of the park, however, is Dice Tower. At the top of the tower is a blinking light that changes its depiction of different dice faces, you know, like two dots or five dots or whatever. Use these indicators to play a life size version of a board game on the playground below. The spaces are marked so you know how to proceed. It's pretty silly sun and enjoyable. Across the way is Jurong Point Mall if you feel like shopping after all that outdoor fun. I...

Weekend Wanders: Jurong Central Park Took a stroll through Jurong Central Park over the weekend — a peaceful green escape nestled just minutes away from Jurong Point and Boon Lay MRT. Though it’s not as expansive as Jurong Lake Gardens, the park offers a refreshing and lush environment that’s perfect for unwinding after a hearty lunch or shopping spree at the mall. With its open lawns, shaded walking paths, and the gentle rustling of trees, it’s a wonderful spot to just pause and breathe. If you’re around Jurong and need a short nature break, this park is definitely worth a visit. Sometimes, it’s the smaller green spaces that offer the biggest reset.
