KCK Food Catering Pte Ltd — Attraction in Singapore

I was in need of a tingkat service for my family and researched for a long time before I found KCK. KCK is halal certified so I didn’t have to worry about consuming cooking wine or alcohol in food (which I was worried about as I was pregnant during the time I started the tingkat service). KCK does not serve pork but they serve chicken and fish for meat dishes. For fish, they serve perch, dory, salmon, toman etc which I found to be healthy. They even served salmon fish pieces cooked in some sauce which was very delicious. Even my husband also said the tingkat service is very worth it. The food is overall delicious, nutritious and there is good variation of dishes. I find that the price is very reasonable for the value of the meals.

Another thing I liked was KCK gave the food in microwaveable containers without extra charges for the containers. I find this more hygienic compared to tiffin containers because I enquired with a few tingkat providers that use tiffin and I found that the user has to wash the tiffin containers and the provider doesn’t rewash when it goes back to them - they simply scoop the food into it. Which I feel is unhygienic given that the tiffin containers go through commute and may be eg dropped on the floor in the process of transport.

Have renewed my contract after the trial period and plan to continue with KCK.

Our last domestic helper left in 2017. Some were excellent cooks and some less so. Since the last one left, we've been too busy to cook. So, for the last 7y, we've had to rely on tingkat providers. We've gone through quite a few caterers and more often than not, we've been left disappointed after the 20D cycles (some even from the get go).

Around 2021/2022, we found KCK Food and we've been with them since. In "tingkat provider" terms, I believe that's an "eternity". What sets them apart from the rest is not so much the food quality but the "effort" they put into the daily offerings.

While the cook struggles with some local dishes in terms of authenticity of flavors, you do have to give credit for their effort to mix things up and add variety to the dishes. Some days, they fall short and settle into a routine but more often than not, they'll bounce back and surprise you.

It is this extra mile effort that differentiates KCK from the run of the mill tingkat caterer, many who inevitably fall into weekly same old same old. Additionally, their customer facing staff is a delight to communicate with and feedback to, on anything amiss.

Affordable delicious meals. Occasionally, there are desserts or pastries added on. Sometimes one of the dish is fried food so we just heat it up with air fryer and my family loves it. I can’t guarantee that you will love all the dishes every day, but for us, it’s most days at least 3 dishes that we are very pleased with. But overall, we are very thankful for KCK’s service, from the point of preparation until delivery.
