We have travelled far and wide to experience the vastness of nature in all its beauty - it never stops surprising. We stand in awe, even if its just a minute minute fraction of what we would experience in the nature reserves overseas in a matter of minutes, instead of hours. Keeping in mind that we are on our little red dot, we have to agree that it's inspiring experience, - it's like a carved-out art piece of nature, given the limited land resource SG has. Until you take just that one moment to soak in its beauty and appreciate it, everything in a blink of an eye is over... Put on your tracking shoes and experience it yourself... Perhaps over a quite weekday... Weekends tend to be crowded 🤦 it is Singapore after all 😊✌️ *Our photos are not representive of our experience. Wish we could have uploaded our video as well*

☘️🌿🌾 Been here many times over the years with friends, nephews and my hubby. It is a lovely park, with calm pond waters & a beautiful scenic quarry landscape. ● You can cut through Jalan Asas as a shortcut path to the Singapore Quarry trail path. ✅️ The Singapore Quarry was mined for many decades and was still in operation till the 1980s. Here, you can spot eagles, kingfishers and monitor lizards at times. ➡️ There are an increasing bunch of macaques' ( monkey) presence. You need to be careful and not feed them, they can be aggressive. 🟢 Do not look at the animals ( monkeys etc) in the eyes for they will perceive it as a challenge. ✳️ Overall, it is a nice park. ✨️🙏🏻 It can be quiet at times, so do go with a companion.

🦅Singapore Quarry is a disused granite quarry site which had became a tranquil and picturesque freshwater lake thriving with aquatic biodiversity. 🐟The aquatic life in the pond had attracted birds and bird-watchers to it. 🐦The Singapore Quarry is a short walk from the Rail Mall. ⛰️Fun fact: 📍Singapore Quarry was formerly known as Chia Eng Say Quarries. 📍Chia Eng Say, a businessman from Fujian, China, set up several subsidiaries to run the quarry business. Singapore Quarry Co Pte Ltd was the main one running the quarry business. 📍After he passed away, the business was simply referred to as Singapore Quarry. 📍The name became synonymous with the actual quarry site. 📍And Chia Eng Say Quarries became known as Singapore Quarry.

Beautiful short nature walk. From hill view mrt station, its a short walk, slightly uphill but no stairs. The path is mostly shaded with trees, so its quite pleasant for sg humidity. There is a rest tent at the quarry but no water, bring ur own.. On ur return walk, you can take even shorter route ( nearer than the coming route) to the signs Jln Asas ( Fuyong interim park) which end up at railway Mall ( railway corridor), where all restaurants, shops and the railway tracks are. There is toilet station / water dispenser too. From there you can continue your wallk or take a bus home.

A really great place to see the great quarry and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The place can get a tad bit crowded with all the birdwatchers but it gives it some life! Besides the quarry, the trail towards it has some nice fauna and path for you to hike! The weather can be quite punishing in the afternoon but the trail isn't that long. Overall, if you're around the area for the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, do take a trip down here to see Singapore's most popular quarry and you won't be disappointed

Beautiful area, gets crowded on weekend mornings with nature photographers and bird watchers. If you are coming from the Rail Corridor there is a shortcut with a sign Singapore Quarry pointing up some steps and a bridge. This bridge leads to a narrow dirtpath which will bring you to the large concrete path to Singapore Quarry. Seems to be a much quicker route than walking from Hillview MRT. If you liked this view I highly recommend Little Guilin, similar views but more quiet, and less of a walk to get to the quarry
