It was totally a ripoff. In addition to the package price $899, we were asked to pay another $450 for âextra kidsâ on site on the event day. We had no plan B for a birthday party. The 15 kids were already queuing for entry. We ended up paying $75/person for a 2-hour birthday play session. We would have other better choices with this price. This was in fact the second time that we organised a party for our daughter at Smigy PLQ. It was only $555 for 20pax (kids and adults) before. The price rose to $899 in 2023. This time, I have already made it clear that we would be 17kids and 2 adults. Smigy did not tell us that $899 package is only for 10 kids and 10 adults. They did not specify that the quotas of kids and adults are not interchangeable. We were completely trapped on the event day and had to pay $450 for âextra kidsâ. (And they even overcharged 1 more kid.) Smigy obviously did not take the right responsibility in explaining the details to its clients. The overall communication was poor. I hope no more victims after...
Read more28 Apr about 5.15pm at United Sq branch, there was a young boy coughing vigorously unmasked for a prolonged period of time at the reception area before entering the playground. The counter staff have noticed it too and I observed the 2 staff looking at the rule number 3 (which states that the premise has the right to reject entry to person unwell) and I donât know what their exact exchange was but one staff just put the finger to her lip, probably to say close one eye to this. After the coughing episode, I donât think the staff even asked the child to sanitize his hand before entering. (If you are the boss, you can refer to the cctv around the entrance area during the date and time stated to verify.) I did question the staff right away as I was concerned about my child inside the premise playing. The staff is polite but said she will keep a look out to see if the child does cough again. I am definitely concerned about the hygiene of this place and staff should be more vigilant and strict...
Read moreA fun and colourful play experience for the kiddos. At first glance the place looked like it was for toddlers. But was pleasantly surprised that there's something for every age at this place. I must say the ladies at the counter are quite strict but there's nothing wrong in their management of situations I guess. Maybe they could relax a bit on the restriction that an adult has to accompany each child. But I do feel that parents should be careful in bringing their young babies to the other areas where older kids are running about. Maybe staff could advise parents on keeping the little ones to the toddler area. $19 for an hour for each child is not so bad. But getting for 2 hours is more worth it. I do feel 2 hrs is too long for older kids. Very clean and safe...
