Don't waste your time and money moving to this condo. Do your homework and look at some of the older ones to get the bang for your buck. I liked it in the beginning but after a month staying it was a biggest mistake. For one, the gym only opens at 6 am to 10pm. I requested them to open at 5 am; however, the management cited safety reason and said no! Afterall, the only way to acess is via card access. We pay for the all aminities and it is very dissapointing for them not wanting to open an hour earlier for the early risers to use the gym. Furthermore, these equipments needs some upkeep but nothing has been done yet! Getting a cab around here in the morning is a pain in the rear. There are no proper street signages so cab drivers don't seem to know where to go despite me using the app to book a cab. They have construction going on the units up above my floor. I just happened to be home sick one day earlier after a doctor visit to take a nap. They're using sledge hammers to tear down the walls and concrete drills. It just drove me absolutely nuts and I went to the MA's office but no avail. Next morning, I received a call saying the construction will last for a month. I stayed home sick for two days and had to endure this blady noise. The least the management could have done is notify the tenants of the construction work so they're prepared.
Lastly, if you look at the quality of the construction work is of a shoddy job. I'm not going to get into the detail of the bathroom fiasco that I had to deal with. If you ever come to this condo just observe the ceiling of the main lobby. You will not only find AC water condensation but puddle of water dripping from the vents right above the passenger elevators. The celing above the sitting area in the lobby has sign of water stain and black moss formation. I'm compelled to say to the all the expats, don't bother moving here because you will regret! This place is not user friendly to raise a family but perfect for a single or couples only. It's not worth your money given there are ample units in the...
Read moreThe most disappointing thing is attitude of condo management. They're just proactively lazy and manage to find the most ineffective solution to any problem. I had a leak coming from toilet in the unit above (quite a serious issue). Management asked to send them an email with pictures. I literally went there with pictures, and instead of giving phone number of developer/contractor - he asked me to send him an email... Later contractor had to access unit upstairs to identify problem and the solution from management was: Let's write an email and see if tenant is available at x time tomorrow... All while discharge pipe from unit above is leaking all over. I literally had to explain why he should call rather than email because this is a serious urgent issue and we need to know time now, not few days later... Of course I, had to say that couple of times to get them to actually call. To put it simply - you need to come to management with instructions of what they need to do and don't expect them to try to help you.
Units themselves are small but planned out really well. However build quality is poor like most new condos that are build to look pretty. There is close to no noise isolation with sliding window doors leading to unnecessarily loud noise from the street and construction nearby.
Facilities (except gym) are great and honestly the best I've seen in any condo (50m pool, multiple small pools, many bbq pits). Although 1 tennis court was closed for over a year due to tenant dispute and there is no plan to reopen. Remaining tennis court can be booked with about 2 weeks waiting time for evenings/weekends.
Getting a cab/grab can be very difficult during peak hours or when it's raining.
Surrounding area is really nice with plenty of greenery and multiple parks just a short walk away.
Like everything - this condo has upsides and downsides. It's mostly OK until you need to deal with...
Read moreFire alarm keeps going off outside my unit at London Tower for the past 1.5 years. Imagine living next to a false alarm at all times of the day, even in the wee hours of the morning, The building management fixes it each time (though sometimes it takes up to half an hour while the ringing is nonstop) but it keeps coming back at other random times. If peace is important to you, nothing else in the other good reviews will make up for your loss of peace so don’t bother...
