There’s a charming outdoor café that’s perfect for a relaxed morning at The Yards. The setting is peaceful and inviting, with plenty of greenery and comfortable seating that makes it ideal for enjoying a sunny day. What really stood out was the atmosphere. It’s a great spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or even just enjoy some quiet time with a book. The service was warm and prompt, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy breakfast spot with a lovely outdoor vibe.

Went to The Yard for lunch. The food was overall good. The grilled sandwich my friend had was part of the crust, hard to cut and bite. The servers were friendly but could be a biy challenging to get their attention. The coffee was good but the only disappointment was that out of the two cups, one was served the lukewarm. The coffees were served after a long wait, with a couple of requests to two different servers. Oh, a side note, better not go to the two washrooms closest to the cafe, they are horrendous.

This place appeared to be mainly for kids. There was a cafe (The Brewing Ground) in the compound where I saw more adults hang out. There were plenty of book corners, which looked poorly maintained. Nonetheless, good to see a old school building being reused as a social space.

Cafe at level 1 (forgot the name) actually has decent coffee and pastries. But if you are thinking of clearing your work there for 1 hour, while waiting for your kid to finish her piano class, be prepared to be hassled in buying more coffee or pastries, 2 or 3 times within the hour, even when the cafe is empty or your cuppa is still half full.

Now I rather run errands like getting the car cleaned at Island Car Wash (think JB car wash vibes and higher attention to detail) at nearby Changi Rd. Cheaper than sitting at the cafe and my ride is clean just for the monsters to...
