29 June 2025: Very nice tea leaves eggs 茶叶蛋. Very well braised. Can smell and taste the herbs. Love it! 05 July 2025: was impressed by the 茶叶蛋 I bought at this shop last week and decided to get 4 eggs today for friends to try but sad to say, it didn't leave up to its name this time. A far cry from the ones i bought last week. Today, i saw the aunty was moving the eggs around, and so I requested the aunty to pick the darker ones, which are more well braised. When I saw the ones she picked were not dark, I requested again and she insisted they were very dark. The photos speak it all. They were not braised at all! See latest pictures. Only 1 out of the 4 barely made it as 茶叶蛋. The rest are just boiled eggs! I can't understand why people would do business like that?? There were lots of eggs in the pot and I would not believe they were all freshly made the same day. For tea leaves eggs, it would have been braised for days or at least overnight. I also wouldn't believe that there was no leftover from yesterday. Why would they rather give customers the newer ones and not the well braised ones? Why tarnish your own brand like that? Read moreToday at about 4.15pm, I was there looking for 1 set of condition + shampoo. I found the conditioner but the matching shampoo (of that range) is not on that shelf nor nearby shelves. This middle age lady/shop assistant was standing 1 metre away and I brought the bottle to show her and ask if there is the matching shampoo. Who knows it may be kept at other parts of the shop or new stock came and they haven't been displayed, right?? That staff stood there absolutely nonchalant, not even serving any other customer but she literally was just standing there. She replied in mandarin: "IT IS ALL THERE ALREADY!" I don think she even glance at the item I was holding. I felt like going to the counter to ask who's the "mgr" and if that staff is even needed there. What help is she of? There are other people who need a job and willing to "do their job with basic decency and responsibility". The other staff in this medical hall are generally OK - helpful and knowledgeable. Read more*Updated 11 April 2019 Thank you to Bobby who reached out to us and helped us to resolve the matter. He is very understanding about the matter, and was very apologetic about what happened. Would still recommend getting a receipt for any future purchases made, as it would made it easier to resolve any transaction disputes. But all in all, thank you Bobby, for not letting us feel disappointed in a store we have patronised for so long.
Recommend getting a receipt for anything you have purchased. Bought something, was overcharged and when we went back to enquire again, the lady who attended to us the first time denied selling us anything at all that day. Our mistake was that we didn't ask for a receipt because we trusted this store, since we have patronised them many times...
