Indeed a breath of fresh air and a sight for sore eyes from the city jungle to meander around this route. Lots of signage for directions so one is reassured and doesn’t feel lost. Went on a Thursday so it’s not so crowded like the weekends and public holidays. Brought a friend visiting from overseas. Took a leisurely stroll commencing from Windsor Park entrance around the orange coloured path/route that loops around the highlight which is the tree top walk monkey bridge. It’s my first time and it was better than I had expected. Free entry and no tickets required. But Do take note of park closing time is 5pm and the last entry is 4.45pm. It’s closed on Mondays unless it’s a Public Holiday. Checkout the official website for important information. One section was under renovation so the interim detour that runs parallel to it can get muddy and slippery during wet weather and do take note there are many staircases up and down if you are unable to climb stairs. Other than that it’s not a difficult nor dangerous trek and is suitable for children who are old enough and willing to walk on their own. Took us from 10am-2pm to complete the entire tree top loop route with a leisurely stroll with pit stops to stretch and enjoy nature in its natural beauty. Takes you right into the midst of a rich lush tropical rainforest that is left as natural and intact as possible without looking overly manicured and artificially landscaped. Educational as well with the signs explaining about the eco system and habitat and wildlife. The monkeys I encountered are very tame and won’t bother you, unlike some other countries where the monkeys are spoilt and become aggressive because of being fed by tourist. Well recommended to escape the bustling city. Easy to reach by both MRT + Bus or Taxi. Oh yes and it’s well shaded/ sheltered under the natural canopy of majestic rainforest tree giants. Hardly required...

Route: Venus Drive Carpark to Treetop and back. Distance: approx 7.2km Terrain: Undulating Difficulty level: moderate to difficult

To those who wanna explore the greeneries in Singapore with ample trekking and hiking, this is the place to be.

Entrance is at the Venus Drive. Easily accessible by public transport or you can get a cab. We suggest to start your trek in the morning as it can get very humid nearing mid day. Toilets are available at the main entrance of the park and Ranger Park. Easy to follow route with ample sign boards.

Please carry your rubbish with you and keep the park clean. Bring enough water however there is a water point at the Ranger Park. LllWe suggest not to eat while trekking unless you wanna get the attention of the wild monkeys!

The view from the Treetop is splendid. You’ll be walking on the hanging bridge. Expect to queue for a bit on weekends. The park ranger will dispatch in group of five aligning with the safe measures mgt.

As for the seniors, we suggest you use comfortable walking shoes, walking stick, and light clothing. Take your time and keep left to give way to runners and...

One of the best hiking trails in Singapore ! The moment when you step on the entrance of Windsor Nature Park, I guarantee you will feel excited by the welcome frontages after you have parked your car for free ! You will experience the best wooden walking platform, the natural solid mud ground and level-up wooden walking platform along the way to the final destination of the hanging bridge. Beware of the hungry/naughty monkeys along the way, never expose your foods which will attract them to swarm on you out of sudden and steal from you. Avoid eating any foods along the trails otherwise you will be shocked and intimidated by them following you to find a chance to steal from you. If that happens, use a stick to frighten them or shout at them so these monkeys will know you are not welcoming them to follow you. Please do not hurt them as these monkeys just wanted to find delicious foods to eat. As long as you don't expose your food, these monkeys will not disturb you. Last but not least, REMEMBER, do not try to be kind and feed them, I guarantee it will be your nightmare ! Enjoy your...
