Over the past two year, Duncan has been more than just a physics tutor-he's been a transformative figure in my academic journey. Before I joined his Zenith PP lesson during May last year, I was struggling to grasp even the basic concepts of physics, getting S grade for my common tests in school, and my confidence in the subject was at an all-time low. Little did I know that with Duncan's guidance and his patience, my perspective on physics would shift completely, turning it from one of my least favourite subjects into one I truly love and excel in.

What sets Duncan apart is not just his deep knowledge of physics 🤔but also his ability to connect with me and my friends who are in his class. He has a remarkable way of breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible parts. Whether we were discussing Newton's laws, electromagnetism, or quantum mechanics, he always found a way to so called make "recipes" for us to understand and use it to answer in our questions, making it easier for my friends and I to understand complex topics

Duncan's teaching style is incredibly student-focused. He took the time to go through every small details precisely, making sure that we all understand most of the learning outcome by the end of every lesson. He never made me feel embarrassed for asking questions, no matter how simple they seemed, and his constant encouragement helped me build confidence in my abilities.😊

Another thing I truly appreciate about Duncan is his unwavering dedication. He's always been flexible with scheduling, even going out of his way to fit in time to explain things we dun understand. For example, when he was on a trip to China🇨🇳 during the early period of this year, he still will make the time to call me and other students to answer our questions. In addition, he doesn't just stop at teaching what's in the syllabus; he encourages all his students to think critically, explore beyond the curriculum, and develop a genuine curiosity for the subject, especially in astrophysics 😛

Thanks to Duncan❤️, my grades have improved significantly, and more importantly, I now have the confidence to tackle more challenging physics problems.

if ur ever considering physics tuition, ive got to say Duncan, the Head of Physics at Zenith, is really the best physics tutor out there.

from the first ever lesson i attended of his, his passion for the subject and to teach really shone through. He managed to explain complicated topics and break them down into simple concepts, to a point where even with no prior knowledge of the topic i somehow would leave the lesson feeling like i knew that topic at the back of my hand. Not only would he go through the basic questions, but he would often times find a way to spin the question to help us see how the exam questions might be phrased to make the question more complex, and all of this is aimed at helping us really understand the topics at hand. even though the thought of 5 to even 12hr long lessons sounded daunting and tiring at the start, after sitting through them i somehow walked away more awake with an even deeper understanding and appreciation behind all the concepts he would have gone through.

Duncan would also put in alot of effort into helping his students achieve the best grades possible and reach their max potential. whether it be recorded lessons going through certain questions or calling us to answer our questions no matter where in the world he was or what he was doing at that time or even with physical consults, he would always be ready to help us throughout this A level journey. I can remember countless times when it would be 1/2am that i would text him asking for help with questions and he would always either call or text back with the explanations, and he would make sure that I really understood the explanation before hanging up. I can say that it was really the effort and passion he put in that led me to start enjoying studying the subject.

not only is Duncan really great from a teaching standpoint but the connection that he makes with his students is he rlly great at. he would often tell us how he will always be there supporting us and also advising us on matters outside of school. even tho he is a physics tutor, he would also offer us advice about other subjects based on his past experiences and even help us answer questions from other subjects, like math. but yah, in general he really takes time to connect with all his students personally lah.

yep and thats why for anyone considering physics tuition i would 100% recommend Duncan and ye he's really the most SOLIDO...

I attend Chemisty, Biology and Math at Zenith. Zenith has helped me in many ways such as helping me jump grades. The teachers are damn nice and are like my friends too. I look forward to my zenith classes every week because they are fun and are the only thing helping me keep up with my syllabus and learn… if not im dead.
