What a hotel, what incredible. Staff! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to attend his fitness competition that was hosted at the hotel. We were greeted by very attentive and friendly staff. We were able to. Secure a refrigerator to our room, and when we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised by the space.. A separate lounge area with couch and TV, as well as the bedroom area. Any time we needed anything, it was available, including an umbrella so that I could make the trek to a grocery store that was about 30 minutes away! Although, they are contracted with taxi service so a car ride could have cost me as little as 5 euro, or even rent a bike!
The gym has two floors, one for cardio and one for weight training. Well maintained and great variety of machines and weights!
And the food! Offered 3 times daily at the Olym-pick, they offer a wide variety buffet style breakfast, various options of pizza, from. The grill and fit style menu for lunch, and then grill /pizza and pasta for dinner. Good. Pricing too! We loved the burger and the salmon! And at breakfast, the first day, I was even able to request an egg white only omlette.
Upon check out, the staff took great care of us, looking up the train schedule and then even booking us a fixed rate taxi from. The hotel to bratislava main train station for just 25 euro!
Our only complaints (minor) were the shower that couldn't decide whether to get too hot or go cold after you selected a good temperature, and the TV had only options for news in English. We also were slightly taken back by the lack of drinks included in meals. Water was free, but the soft drinks were extra every time.
Even with those instances, we still. Absolutely felt taken care of and truly enjoyed our stay. The staff is going to make sure you...
Read moreWe had a dance competition in this hotel. We had a negative experiance with the hotel. Most of the receptionists are young women. They are cold and unfriendly. It seems as do they not like to work there. Also, it's repulsive to see all these young womens with lips totaly swollen. The hotel outside is very nice. The rooms are nice equipped, beds are very good. Windows were dirty. The carpet was full of stains. We saw that they allow dogs in the rooms. Sorry, but this is a no go. The breakfast was ok, but you must put the food on a tray and bring it to a stack after breakfast. For the price, they can not expect the customer to carry the tray where the stuff is just standing arround and talking. The asian restaurant is nice but the food is overrated and not tasty. Sorry. For the checkout we waited 30min. The women receptonists again are very very slow and unfriendly... We do not...

My reviews are based heavily on the fitness facilities and this hotel is specifically designed for athletes. The outdoor and indoor pools were great and the two floor gym was well equipped. The cardio left a lot to be desired, though. The treadmills specifically were quite old and only 1/5 was actually working. Not great for the busiest weekend of the year.
The food at Apani was very good, but steer clear if you’re in a hurry. As soon as there were a few other tables, it took more than 40 minutes for food to arrive with some other diners choosing to cancel and leave the restaurant due to the extended wait.
We had a junior suite and the room was big, clean and perfect for our needs. For the price of the room, though, some coffee would...
