Bunker B-S 6 — Attraction in Bratislava

The tour of the bunker was incredibly exciting and informative. The team really outdid themselves in restoring the bunker close to its original plans. If you're even just a little interested in military bunkers or the history of czechoslovakia during WWII I'd definitely recommend a visit. The only difficulty was getting there because it's not that well connected to public transportation, but we just walked the last kilometre or so. Thank you again Martin for this interesting tour, it was definitely a highlight during our field trip...

This bunker was built in 1935 by the construction company Ing. Rudolf Frič from Bratislava and in 1937 building modifications were made to it so that it could be integrated into the overall defense system of Bratislava. The bunker crew consisted of 10 soldiers.

We visited the bunker while touring the area and it's WWII history. This bunker is located just off of the main road and there is no parking nearby. By luck, the gate was closed and we were able to park right in front of the gate because no one else was there. Otherwise, you'd have to find suitable parking.
