Very beautiful hike, some 11km round trip taking the blue trail up to the junction with the green/yellow which climb up. The green is canyoning up the waterfalls with places to wade, in August not much water, and ladders to climb. The blue trail follows the river and has some stretches on metal grates and chain to hang on to. The path is uneven with parts on slippery rocks. Walking sticks can help but make sure you have a back pack to tie them to for passing places where you need both hands. At the top there are ruins of a Carthusian abbey and some refreshment. Earlier in the day you can go back by bike. From the top it is about 5km back to the parking lot. The guys at the parking lot are horrible, aggressive, unkind and no word...

Absolute best place to go for a hike. This was the most interesting hike I've been on. Amazing that some safety rules have not destroyed it yet. Climbs were amazing. That walk on the river bed perfect. And also there are places you can blast around on bycicles. You need perhaps about two days to actually get to every corner of that walks. Take some hiking boots that you are not afraid to get wet. At the base there is literally everything you could possibly need including food and rent a bike. Really well sought after place. You can camp there and have your caravan there also. As well as...

The Slovak paradise is one of the most unique hiking trails I have Ever been to. The trail goes right through the water stream and waterfalls, using ladders and paddles in the stone. The trail is not an easy one since there is climbing up the straem, if it's by ladders or by foot. We were there after a dry weekend, but if you come after the rain , the place could be flooded and walking with water up to the thigh. The trail is NOT suitable for young children. Highly recommended for...

Územie má vysokú krajinársku a estetickú hodnotu so zaujímavými skalnými útvarmi, pestrou flórou a faunou.
