It's a real Paradise! Rocks, water, waterfalls, trees, birds... it's so so wonderful...
I did two trails - PodlesokHornad PrelomKlasztorska RoklinaKlasztorzysko Podlesok and Podlesok Sucha Bela yellow and red trail to Podlesok.
Both trails take about 4-5 hours each. You pay 3 euro for parking and 1.50 for the entrance. Near the parking there are many restaurants and bars but if the weather is cloudy they tend to be closed.
Dogs are allowed but not all paths are possible for them (a good map will tell you where there are ladders, chains etc.). For me the same goes with children - the most beautiful equally most difficult trails are to avoid.
Both trails were wonderful. However if you are afraid of heights they may be very challenging. The Hornad Prelom is an easier one. Though there are places the water is visible a few metres beneath your feet when you're going on metal steps.
In Sucha Bela and Klasztorska Roklina you must be ready to go through water - the trail and the stream are the one for the most part of the road. After rains there's no way not to have water in your shoes!
There are also many ladders... well they are not technically difficult but quite impressing. I mean if you're able to go through a rope park both emotionally and physically - you'll make it with pleasure!
I recommend September early mornings as you're pretty alone in this...

It offers short hikes along springs that are uphill and you need to cross water use ladders climb a bit etc. It is very engaging. A lot of routes start around Podlesok so this is good starting point. Most homes take 1-2h uphill and similar time to get back down. Most crowded on weekends. Most famous hike is Sucha Bela it is also best maintained one. If you look for less crowded one that is more wild go to...
