Na hrad Sitno / To Sitno Castle

Keď sme v okolí Banskej Štiavnice, tak častokrát ideme na Sitno a neďaleký hrad, pretože to nikdy nesklamalo. Keď sme boli pri jazere Počúvadlo, tak nám domáci poradili, nech nejdeme najkratšou cestou, lebo cez prázdniny a obzvlášť víkendy je to masovka. Odporučil nám trasu cez Tatársky jarok, na hrad a rozhľadňu. A veru bola to pekná prechádzka. Išli sme stále v tieni cez les, bolo vidieť vodné šachty, kamenné vodné žľaby a aj nejakú lesnú zver. Deti si zamškrtili na černiciach ktorých bolo popri chodníku neúrekom. Za celý čas sme stretli asi 4 skupiny turistov. Túto trasu môžem len odporučiť, nakoľko je síce dlhšia,  pekná, oddychová a nie taká prudko stúpajúca ako cez Tatársku lúku.

When we are around Banská Štiavnica, we often go to Sitno and the nearby castle, because it never disappoints. When we were at Lake Počúvadlo, the locals advised us not to take the shortest route, because during the holidays and especially on weekends it is crowded. He recommended us the route through the Tatarsky jarok, to the castle and the lookout tower. And it was a nice walk. We walked in the shade through the forest, we could see water shafts, stone water troughs and even some forest animals. The children ate blackberries, which were plentiful along the path. If you are coming from St Anton, you can drive up to Haviarska car park (about 15min by car from the castle). From the car park, it is about 35min (with young children) to the castle and further 15 min to the top of the hill (Sitno). The castle (ruins) has fantastic vistas, worth the visit and learning...
