Kapušany Castle — Attraction in Kapušany

The ruins of the castle are easily accessible from the village of Kapusany. Starting from the parking lot, it's just over a 5km/3.1mi walk in the forest there and back. Navigation is super easy, and admission is free, except for the main tower, which costs 1 € for adults and 0.50 € for children under 10. There is an infocentre/souvenir shop at the entrance, but it is closed during the winter season (the same applies to the main tower). Ak sa pozeráte z parkoviska na hrad, choďte cestou ako ukazuje červená šípka na parkovisku. Je to cesta cez les, príjemná aj v horúčavách. V lese sú informačné tabule a pri každej je pekne vyrezaná lavička. Treba mať pevnejšiu obuv, nevedie tam asfaltka. Dá sa to zvládnuť aj s terénnym kočíkom. Pomalým tempom je to cca 50 minútové stúpanie. Pred hradbami sú 2 toalety, jedna klasická drevená a druhá moderná, plastová. V akom stave boli, netuším, nenavštívili sme ich. Hrad bol otvorený, pokladňa zatvorená. Je tam síce ohnisko na opekanie, ale všade sú rozmiestnené tabule o zákaze zakladania ohňa. Na nádvorí je stôl a 2 lavice na sedenie, zavesené vrecia so slamou a drevený detský kolotoč (v čase našej návštevy, v polovici júna, nemal sedačky). Pri hradbách sú prístrešky. Hrad je ruina, vo veži je lešenie, vedú tam schody. Môžete sa kochať výhľadom takmer na všetky svetové strany. Výlet sme si spestrili cestou dole, odporúčam len pre zdatných turistov, bez kočíka či nosiča na dieťa a s pevnou obuvou. Išli sme z hradu do dediny po zelenej turistickej značke. Najprv to vyzeralo nevinne, išli sme popod hrad úzkym chodníkom popri drevenom zábradlí, potom pribudli stromy, kríky, kamene, strmina, asi pol metra vysoký kamenný schod a neoznačené rázcestie- treba ísť cestou vľavo, tak ostanete na zelenej značke. Za dažďa to musí byť des. Je to piaty stupeň ochrany. Z lesa vyjdete o ulicu ďalej od parkoviska pod hradom, treba ísť stále len dole kopcom, prídete ku verejnému altánku kde si môžete oddýchnuť a už ste na ulici s...
