Malkia Park — Attraction in Orechová Potôň

Malkia Park. A small but very organized Zoo. The Zoo began in 2016, and its name is taken from the name of the first resident - Malkia the Lioness. She still lives here. In 2022, the Zoo became the first private Zoo in Slovakia.

Beautiful territory, large and clean enclosures with pools and landscaping, well-groomed animals, many benches, a nice playground. The enclosures are made so that the animals are clearly visible to visitors. Sometimes, you get the impression that animals are posing 😀. Very interesting for children!

Some might say the prices are too high for this place, but please remember, they rescue animals from bad circumstances, and they keep them very well. I’ve visited MalkiaPark several times, and it’s a very fun activity for a sunny afternoon. You can buy bird food to feed the ducks and other birds in the huge pond, or you can buy dry food for other animals and feed goats, zebras and lamas from your hand. A zoo that is more focused on the feline individuals. But has a lot of other animals that just love cuddling, like for example lemurs. In the middle of the object is a huge lake in which daily swim packs of goosee, ducks, swans an more... Events also occur there, for example the animal caretaker goes every now and then into the wolf enclosure to feed them fresh meat.
