Sĺňava Reservoir — Attraction in Piešťany

Nice reservoir, however full of limbs visible above water. For captains of ships there are limitations around birds island (not to come close), but super noisy hoovercrafts and speedboats competition is allowed. There are no many places where to put boat onto the water, or where to land, overall it has missing infrastructure.

Cycloroute around is nice, but tiny and should be refurbished. Few restaurants or bars are available for cyclists.

The water looks rather dirty.

Otherwise one of few reservoirs available for boats...

Sĺňava je podľa mňa skôr na rybárčenie, ako na oddych. Každopádne nájde sa tu pár podnikov, v ktorých si každý príde na svoje. Vpodstate priamo na Sĺňavu majú prístup hneď dva kajakárske kluby a jeden veslársky klub. Vodné lyžovanie je zabezpečené hneď dvakrát, ikeď nie som si istý, či jedno z nich nie je súkromné - to je lyžovanie, kedy Vás ťahá čln, a určite verejné je myslím Soul, taká zátoka, tam je vlek. Na Sĺňavu chodí cez leto obhladková loď Adam Trajan, štartuje pri Sklenenom moste niekoľkokrát za deň. --- English version below --- Sĺňava seems to me to be fishing rather than relaxing. Anyway, there will be a few businesses where everybody comes to theirs. Basically, directly on the Slnava, there are tree water clubs. Water skiing is secured twice, even though I'm not sure if one is not private - it is skiing when a boat is being towed, and certainly public I think is Soul, such a bay, there is a tow. Lovely little over 10 km around largest body of water near Piešťany. Rentable boats if interested. Some bewerages can be purchased through the way. Lovely sight the dam, bird island and lot of villages. Watch opening hours or only portion of the trip is avaliable. Dont go skating as the sidewalk is at...
