Well, either bike or hike, definitely worth the visit. Forget about driving by car, this area requires a special permit, because it's a drinking water source for a nearby reservoir. And if you love astronomy, don't forget your equipment, the skies here belong to the darkest in the EU. Book your stay well in advance, if you don't plan to camp. Don't underestimate the hills here, they appear to be not that demanding, but the weather can change quite swiftly and believe me, you don't want to find yourselves in the middle of nowhere with phone battery down to 5%, the coverage is sparse and signal strength varies from full to none, so your phone battery will be drained in no time. O bývalej obci ani zmienka na nejakej infotabuli. V okolí zvláštne “chatičky”, celkom nevkusné. Nehľadajte tu žiadne občerstvenie. Tur. prístrešok v podstate zasypaný odpadom (radšej sme si sadli vonku). Cyklotrasa (prichádzali sme od Topole) vedená po starej ceste (šotolina, zbytky asfaltu). Kúsok vyššie smerom do Ruského sedla začína kvalitná...

Dal som si nealko pivo, bol som autom. Teplota vonku 31'C ! Preto 🍺 padlo. Sortiment slabší, no príjemné ma prekvapila existencia bufetu - predavačka vravela, že takto reagovali už 30 ľudí predo mnou. No a stretol som rodáka odtiaľ z Ruského, ktorého som videl prvýkrát v živote - je môj vzdialený...
