Lahinja Landscape Park — Attraction in Črnomelj

At the start of the park there is an info spot. The girl there was helpful and the kids loved that she showed them the old house with black kitchen. We then took the hike and visited the bird watching station. As it was in the midddle of the day and we did not want to spend much more time in the midday sun, we decided to go back. When coming to the park there are two entryways from the main road. We first took the second entrance and there was just some larger spot between the houses. We did not know if it was a parking or whatever. The whole park lacks good and visible signage. I felt we were more or less left to guessing where to go...

The park in total is a very nice, protected area. Good trails and many natural features.

The Pusti Gradec peninsula should be open for public visit! It's a part of natural and cultural heritage of Slovenia, so the access should not be blocked by a restaurant. That's why my overall rating...
