Kolesarska pot — Attraction in Bohinj

Nice, asphalt bike-road, meandering trough beautiful nature. If you start at the parking place off Road 209 (just before the bridge across Sava River), and walk/bike to the concrete bridge across Mostnica, you cover about 6 km one way. For bikers that would not be much of a challenge, but for more humble walkers, 12 kms is quite a decent achievement. Keep in mind you are sharing this road with other walkers, hikers, tractors, other farm machinery, and occasionally - goats or cows. Generous "sprinkling" of manure on adjacent fields and meadows, and plentiful goat droppings on the road is something you need to take for granted at certain periods of the year and in certain areas. But spring water, flowing into a wooden water-trough (about five kilometers away from the suggested start), is so clear, cool and delicious, it's practically worth the trip in itself - especially if you live in a big city, with disgusting, chlorinated tap water. If you carry a bidon, make sure you fill it up here to the brim, and figure out where and how far do you want to go from here, if you are feeling truly...

Predvsem zelo draga investicija. Če bi polovico te investicije usmerili v reševanje zimske sezone (Bohinj in Bled pozimi zasedena cca 15%), katera bi se v dveh letih s povečanjem prometa vrnila. Investicija v kolesarsko pot pa je bolj prestiž posameznikov in zaslužek nekaterih. Povečanje prihodkov pa bo minimalno. Če pa upoštevamo še plazovit teren iz Jelovice, ki letno povzroča probleme na glavni cesti, bo ta kolesarska pot predstavljala bolj stalno finančno breme, kot korist. Naravno okolje pa je lepo z asfaltno cesto, kjer bodo vozili tovornjaki...

Krasna povezava Bled- Bohinj. Manjka slab km, a se pride skozi po makadamu. 2 tabli za neprehodnst soteske Nomenj pa begata kolesarske turiste, ki se ustavljajo in gledajo telefone. Pred Bohinjsko bistrico, ko si z Bleda že zdavnaj prevozil problematično sotesko so spet postavljene. Treba jih je obrniti v drugo smer, za kolesarje...
