Vodnikov Lookout Point — Attraction in Bohinj

Park near the church in Koprivnik, there is a sign of the atriglav natural park and signs pointing the direction to Vodnikov razglednik. There are signs along the trail showing the direction. Start your walk on the road to the north. Go with the road curve to the left (you go through a fire station on your left), on the road split go to the right as the sign points. Walk in to a short walk in the woods. On the other side of the woods you will get to a paved road, go to the right where you will see two houses and fields. Go around the houses on the small trail (the houses will be on your left). On the split go on to the left to a small climb up the hill....

I’m usually more into longer hikes, but I saw the cat in the photos and decided to come. The Vodnik Cat was, of course, there 😂

Jokes aside, come here to take a break. The view is stunning and truly a treat for the eyes.

Next to the church, there’s a large and free parking lot, and from there it’s about a 15-minute walk to the viewpoint.

Fantastic views of the Bohinj valley and lake. I suggest park your car/bike at the church in Koprivnik and follow the signs from there on foot. It's about a 400m walk from the church. The lookout is 1017 metres above sea level and the vista is breathtaking. There is a guest book worth paging through along with some rustic benches to relax your bones upon! Great spot for a sundowner...
