Boka is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Slovenia. I strongly reccomend to leave the car in front of Boka hotel, pass hotel, cross main road (not the bridge) , and hike until first view point of waterfall, after start hike steep up...for around half an hour until you come to super view point where you can admire soča valley and highest peak in Slovenia Triglav and just under you on the left there is wonderfull Boka...going back to car dont go same way but just after 200 meters after view point in a meadow under ruins of an old house turn right toward Žaga village...in 5 minutes you will reach amazing viewpoint - "soča horseshoe" where you can admire river flowing around Polovnik mountain, from there you go all way down almost to Žaga village, when you arrive to fork: left you continue on nice path back to your car... or if you have more energy i strongly reccomend turning left toward another super amazing waterfall - Globoški slap in Učja river canyon...amazing place - these side walk is one hour more, but if you go back to parking then total round hike is...

You can also go further up and earn yourself a stunning view of the waterfall from above - the hike takes roughly an hour from the viewpoint and is quite challenging since the path is not always easy (good shoes definitely a must, plus also bring enough water). I would recommend you to do the "full" hike, the view is worth it!
Apparently there are is another trail on the right side (if you are facing the waterfall) of the bridge which brings you literally to the top of...
Read moreHuge and beautiful waterfall that you should not miss. Nearby parking is free and the walk to the official viewpoint takes just couple of minutes. Unfortunately, the official viewpoint is quite far away from the waterfall. We found a way (just continue up from the viewpoint) to get closer, but it is far from easy. The hill is steep and rocky, the path is not maintained, and you need also to climb a little. It is manageable if you are prepared. Definitely not for socks and sandals. You can get closer, but unfortunately not close enough that you can feel the water. At least we...
