Outdoor Museum Čelo — Attraction in Bovec

Beautifull ruin with a goat (???) that we sadly did not encounter. The hike from the main street is rather steep and takes roughly 30min. But then one gets rewarded with stunning views and lots of places to explore. Bring a good flashlight as there is also a small cave to explore too! Would definitely recommend as a little trip when you don't know what to do with the rest of your day. There is also a little bench where you can enjoy a little snack that I would definitely bring.

No entry needed- everything is open...

Finding your way up the path to the battery is a bit of adventure, but stick with it. Follow the signs to the summit and the path to the site is signposted off the main path.

Great hike to view these well preserved ruins from WWI. I too was followed by a cheeky goat, mentioned in two of the other reviews, although having subsequently googled "goat behaviour", I think it was just being friendly! Beautiful...
