OK, so - 2 stars. One for the bit of nostalgia. We have been visiting this park since 2009, every year during holidays in Slovenia, and as a stopover in journeys to Croatia. The second star is for a 100% fully thermal riviera. All the pools are full of warm thermal water. Unlike other parks in Slovenia/Hungary/Croatia, where the thermal part is only indoor, the outdoor section is colder. BUT - every year we can see gradual aging of the riviera. Last week it was the last drop. NO changing rooms (only a few funny booths by the pool - where everybody can see), NO lockers - we have been told - leave your laptop, documents, money in your car! Or take it with you, haha. This "garderobe" section was in devastating condition last two years - I thought that management would invest some money, this year wholly closed. No free decks/sun umbrellas - you have to pay 3 euros. No music (well for someone, it can be annoying - but it is a fun thermal park). Overpriced food - really 3-4 euros for ice cream that I can buy in any supermarket for max. 1 euro? At least the ketchup in the restaurant could be free for French fries. Kids playground? Well, I was not sure whether I am on Catez or in Pripjat/Chernobyl. I will not come again until I read some news that there was some significant...
Read moreWe came for the day (weekdays recommended) only to the summer riviera and bought tickets online for quick access. Honestly the park itself is great for kids, and even parents can have a good laugh and a good time. Generally clean and pleasant. Park grounds are fine, you pay extra for beds and an umbrella - fine as well. I don't remember seeing that extra fee published but not a big deal. However, service by young kids is unacceptable. At the entrance, everything was smooth while inside, very different. Inexperience we can understand and that is fine, but these people must be trained to be nice, smile, and helpful. Overall this is a recurring experience in this beautiful country. They seem to be constantly annoyed and uninterested. A very mixed bag, you never know what to expect whether its a restaurant, hotel or place like this. The nature is beautiful and lots of great spots but always remember that people make the place, not hotels, pools,...
Read moreAmazing place for kids and adults. One of the largest Aquapark i have been to. There are so many things for every age. We bought tickets online so we didn't wait at all. Free parking, many different restaurants, 5€ to hire parasoll but there are many trees around so you don't even need to spend money on that. In the morning there were not so many people so no long waiting time to slide on the bigger slides but in the afternoon a lot of people were coming so it was impossible to enjoy as everyone should. Eating and drinking it's not very cheap, water is like 3,30€, chicken nuggets with pommes 10,50€ etc. My recommendation is to bring your own food and drinks cause it's allowed. The toilets were clean and there are many changing rooms. I give 10/10 cause we had wonderful time...
