I would definitely NOT recommend visiting. We came 30min before closing time and were told we had to be out by 17.45 in order to have time to shop!! The entry fee of 5 Eur is not eort it and ad it turns out, you do not need long to visit the tropical garden. It is not really rich in planting and quite small. When it comes to shopping, you get 2 EUR out of your entry fee to shop, but could you use 3 people's vouchers to buy one orchid? Noo! One voucher, one purchase. What a con. Honestly, not impressed. The tropical garden has only two really small sections with a few cool plants, but poorely arranged with no imagination and not too well maintained either. You don't need more than 15 minutes to go through the whole place, which doesn't really justify the entrance fee. The shop's offer is sparse as well, with athe smallest selection of shabby, plain orchids. You can find much more attractive ones in any supermarket (eg Lidl). It was pretty disappointing to see only a beautiful but not too large greenhouse with plants and only with few potted orchids. The place where orchids are grown cannot be visited because of avoiding to infect the plants. You cannot see them like on the photos of their web. Otherwise, at the entrance there are lots of beautiful flowers and you can use the half of the 5 EUR entry fee for buying orchids from them. The staff is very nice, and dogs are allowed in...
