Here's some notable easy to moderate trails that are accessible to most:

Vintgar Gorge • Difficulty: Easy • Duration: 1-2 hours (round trip) • Trailhead: Podhom, near Bled This is the most accessible and popular trail in that follows wooden walkways and bridges along the Radovna River, offering close-up views of the gorge’s turquoise waters, rapids, and waterfalls, including the 13-meter-high Šum Waterfall.

Tolmin Gorges • Difficulty: Easy to moderate • Duration: 2-3 hours (round trip) • Trailhead: Tolmin, near the Soča River The Tolmin Gorges are a network of deep canyons carved by the Tolminka and Zadlaščica rivers. The trail features narrow paths, wooden bridges, and a viewpoint over the confluence of the two rivers. Highlights include the Dante’s Cave and the thermal spring that flows into the Zadlaščica River.

Slemenova Špica • Difficulty: Moderate • Duration: 3-4 hours (round trip) • Trailhead: Vršič Pass This relatively short hike starts at the highest road pass in Slovenia, Vršič Pass (1,611 meters), and leads to the picturesque peak of Slemenova Špica (1,911 meters). The trail offers stunning views of Mount Triglav, the Tamar Valley, and the rugged peaks of the Julian Alps. In autumn, the larch trees turn golden, making it a particularly beautiful hike.

Pokljuka Plateau to Debela Peč • Difficulty: Moderate • Duration: 5-6 hours (round trip) • Trailhead: Pokljuka Plateau This trail offers a more gentle hike through the scenic Pokljuka Plateau, leading to the summit of Debela Peč (2,014 meters). The route passes through dense forests and alpine meadows before reaching the peak, where you are rewarded with panoramic views of the Julian Alps and the...

Beautiful place, you can still feel the wilderness of this place like howling of the wolfs at night or hearing the steps of tiny toes around you in the forest. Incredible combination of theigh mountains and deep alive forests. Be well prepared. This place rarely has some water sources so if you are planning to visit Triglav National Park then prepare also a propriate amount of your own water. Up and down it takes around 15 hours. We went at 4 am so we could hike all day and be back in the evening just before it was getting dark. There are two well known tops to reach. The hightes one is a peak called Triglav, but the more beautiful and picturescue one is called Skrlatica. I highly recomend this one. The lanfscape scene are just incredible and also you have less tourist there because every one wants to reach the highest point of the mountains and less people do care about the more beautiful one. For Skrlatica you will need a helmet for sure! Carabing, a leache and a climbing seat. It has really scary parts. Its not an easy walk, have this in your mind. It is very dangerous without a gear. Like... you can really die there. The effort is definitely worthing for the view. Dont lose too much time at the top, mind the time of the day light if you dont want to go back at...

Have you ever experienced the right place right time moment? Me and @chloe.chapdelaine decided to pull over on the side of the road to get some classic throwing leaves shot and all of a sudden a gust of wind blows and caused a rain of leaves and so of course we had to run through it. Definitely one of those surreal moments. • • • • • • • • • • #adventurephotography #fallcolors #bestplacestogo #fallvibes #fallfoliage #falliscoming #autumnmood #autumncolors #ifeelslovenia #slovenia #triglavnationalpark #igslovenia #visitslovenia #slovenia_ig #folkscenery #sheisnotlost #loveslovenia #femmetravel #darlingescapes #feelslovenia #autumnishere #sloveniatravel #ofwhimsicalmoments
