One of our favourite family walks in the area, leading to a fairytale waterfall (slap peračica) that provides a refreshing swim in the summer. Park in the main car park in Brezje, it will cost around €2 and it can get busy on the weekends as the town is a pilgrimage centre. Signs for 'pot miru' (peace trail) will lead you out of town, past the graveyard and several fields before steep steps guide you down into a lush and shady valley, great for cooling down in the summer months. The walk is circular and well signed and will bring you up the same steep steps -a final hard slog! and back to the Basilica and town of Brezje. Should take about 2.5 hours.

Der Weg ist gesperrt ! Brücken sind alle eingestürzt - wir mussten durchs Wasser gehen um weiter zu kommen ! Generell ein sehr schöner ruhiger weg, aber auch sehr abenteuerlich und schlecht makiert ! Schlussendlich haben wir den Wasserfall- nass u etwas erschöpft nach 1 1/2 std gefunden ! Von einem Rundweg sahen wir Nichts und gingen den gleichen Weg durchs Wasser wieder retour 😎

Pot miru do slapov Peračice je po plazu v lepem vremenu prehodna čez plaz je zanimiva polna mostičkov, praprot poganja, srečamo največjo smreko. Je mir svež zrak, srečala sva divjega zajca, belouško, žabo in uživala vptičjem petju. Priporočam družinam z majhnimi otroki.
